    Awesome trip

One of the best trips I have ever taken. Monument Valley is a must see. Monument Valley was so beautiful I had to go back the next day.
    Response from Host, Mar 2023
Thanks Michelle! The natural beauty of Monument Valley is truly awe-inspiring, and I’m glad that my self-guided audio tour was able to add so much to your visit. I hope you try my other tours across the country on future vacations!
    Very helpful!

We have discovered these tours and gps tours like them. Each a has their querks. The monument valley tour it self must be old since a couple or the routes were closed. Recordings would repeats themselves which seemed odd. But overall having the content was great and added to the visit. Someday I hope to take a guided tour. We have learned that the “human” guides show you where to takes the best pics and take photos of your group which is great!

Thank you so much for your feedback, Robert! I know some routes are not accessible in monument valley, so we made the route of a different color (Red) so travelers don’t get confused. I’m delighted that my tour of Monument Valley added to your learning and that you enjoyed it. I also have 100 other self-guided tours for other parks, scenic drives, cities, and historic sites in the US — hopefully, you’ll get the chance to try them next time! Also, to remind you, the tour you bought is yours for a lifetime. So, you can listen to it at home or on your next visit.
Very good online tour for monument valley

We really enjoyed using the online guided tour, it allowed us to stay inside of our truck while driving through the valley and seeing the sights. It was a very windy day and there was blowing dust and sand all day, the people that bought the guided tours were sitting out in the elements while being driven through the valley by their tour guides.

My wife and I had decided to do the self-guided tour of Monument Valley in our car. We thought this tour narration might explain to us the features along the drive, it really did not!! Yes, at the beginning it told us about the Mittens and 1 Butte. After that, it was a propaganda narration for the Navajo Nation. While that is not bad, that was about all the narration described. Yes, it told us where to turn but we knew that; but it did not point other major formations in the park much less tell us about them. Don’t waste your $10 but read the information provided at the visitor center to see this beautiful and Hollywood-famous valley.
    Response from Host, Jun 2022
Thanks for the feedback Tommy! There are some wonderful Navajo legends and histories to learn about while exploring this land, and many are tied to the formations/geology visible along the drive. If the connection between the two isn’t clear, the tour is still available to review again (it’s valid forever). There’s a lot more than Hollywood movies to Monument Valley (though we cover that too)!
