Amazing sunrise
Flavia_C, Aug 2022
The sunrise was simply amazing and the best thing is that one can avoid the crowd and have the MV just for himself and a few other tour participants
Sunrise is the best time

A spiritual experience in Monument Valley

Amazing experience. My guide was great. She not only took me to places for great photographs, she showed me where to stand and how to take them. It was a delightful experience. I cannot recommend it more highly.
Beautiful and meaningful.

Our guide Sandrea, got us to the perfect place for our sunrise viewing and the rest of the tour was stops at other interesting places. She shared Navajo stories and songs and it was very interesting and a beautiful area to explore.
Great tour

Marjee was wonderful! Very kind, helpful and a good driver. Recommend her highly. We particularly enjoyed the quiet morning time.
Love Monument Valley
Jack_L, Apr 2022
Monument Valley is an amazing place! Visiting at sunrise is my favorite and getting to the back country is fantastic. Sandrea was an excellent guide. One note of caution, this is NOT a photography tour. You can book one but need to call. Enjoyed the hogan visit and the song Sandrea sang - easy to enjoy the special nature of this place!
Beautiful part of God's creation to see

Our guide was eager to show us the things we wished to see. She was fun and helpful with different phone camera shots. The surroundings are so amazing to enjoy and it was wonderful to see them at sunset and sunrise.
Great tour

Sandria was an outstanding guide. She shared insights into Navajo life, culture, and language. She was very familiar with the park and landmarks. Taking us into some of the Park's back country was incredible. Fabulous rock formations and fascinating petroglyphs that you don't see without a knowledgeable guide.
A Very Memorable Experience

One of the top highlights of our recent trip to the Southwest was taking the Sunrise tour with Monument Valley Tribal Tours with our guide Reever. We highly recommend both! Since we were able to watch the sunset from our balcony at the View Hotel, we chose to take the sunrise tour. Reever was at the hotel - on time as promised - in a warm SUV, and the three of us entered the park by 7:00AM. The scenery is as spectacular as imagined. Reever did an excellent job of being at the right place as the sun was coming up and we have hundreds of photos to prove it. But besides the sheer beauty of the valley, the biggest take away from our sunrise tour was what we learned about the Navajo culture. Reever is an enthusiastic ambassador for his heritage, sharing his knowledge of its traditions, spirituality, and customs. And being a small group, we had the wonderful opportunity to ask a lot of questions, that Reever was more than willing to answer. The tour was a much better way to see the valley than doing a “self-drive”; we were able to access parts that are not open to the public and our guide helped us better understand why it is considered to be sacred ground to the Navajo people.
Sunrise tour!!!
Laurie_G, Sep 2021
Magnificent tour - sunrise, Navajo rug-making demonstration. Marjorie was excellent. We saw back-country sites not seen from the 17 mile scenic drive. The wind from the vehicle is real - dress warmly. Confirm the current time with the tour operator - time zones are confusing!
Well worth the getting up at 5am

Our guide Larry was very nice and gave us a great tour of the valley. Ran a little behind time, our fault, and missed the village but he told us a cool story of the Navaho and sang. Some confusion on the information on show time between standard time and day light time. Needs clarification from Viator.
Excellent tour

Sabrina was an excellent tour guide. She told us good places to stand to get the best photos of the sunrise. She was informative and very compassionate with us older people.
Precioso amanecer
