Great tour!
Salvatore_T, Mar 2023
Our tour guide Larry was excellent. Not only did he give a clear, description of the natural formations of Monument Valley but he gave a wonderful history of the Navajo people and how they came to be in the valley. Highly recommend this tour.

Michael did a great job showing us around and explaining Monument Valley. He was very friendly. He made a nice recovery as he was initially going to take us around in an enclosed SUV instead of the open air tour (which was the trip we ordered) due to marginally cold weather conditions, but we were prepared with the right weather gear, and my wife insisted on the open carriage tour. Michael kindly complied.
Excellent

Spending the time with my brothers and friend. Enjoying the beautiful formations. If your in a hurry, but still want to see most of the monuments then this is the tour to take. If you have the time then you should go on one of the longer tours.
Steven was excellent.!...
Kathleen_W, Oct 2022
Steven was excellent.! The craziness of the clocks reading different times, leaving from different areas in the parking lot left us stressed. Steven made us feel like guest's. He provided an informative background in the area and the culture. Couldn't have had a better guide.
Fantastic tour

Wonderful tour in a beautiful area! They even let us bring our (well behaved) dog! I learned a lot and certainly will be back.
Interesting Tour
Robert_E, Oct 2022
The various monuments were unique. We had a friendly and informative Navajo tour driver who volunteered information about the history of the region, and it’s special meaning to the Navajo people.
Highlight of my trip

I can't describe how absolutely fantastic this trip was! The views were amazingly beautiful, our guide, Stephen, was very personable and knowledgeable. The tour far exceeded my expectations. 10 stars ✨ (5 is not adequate enough)

Unfortunately we were...
Anna_H, Aug 2022
Unfortunately we were very disappointed as the guide's microphone wasn't working right from the beginning of the trip. This meant that we had no explanations at all of what we were seeing. This meant that the payment for the tour was worthless as we could have just driven round ourselves and read from a guidebook. I've done a tour of Monument Valley before and it was magical with all sorts of stories from an Indian guide. This time it was a complete disappointment. Shame....
Great visit of an amizing place
Pierre_L, Aug 2022
The view points are amizing Great comments from our guide who made the visite very interesting I strongly recommend to take a guide and not do the visit on your own ( your car will say thank you and you will enjoy much more the sights)
Loop Tour not worth your money
Ferrie_R, Aug 2022
The format of the short 1.5 hour tour is enough to get through the highlights. I would however not recommend to book it via this tour operator - MV Dineh Bekeyah Tours. The cars that all operators use fit 4 persons per row with everybody having a seatbelt. This operator insisted on putting 15 persons on one car so 5 persons per row. The operator also didn't leave us any choice as he added 2 persons after the tour had already started. This had as a result that couples families and groups did not sit together on the same row to enjoy it together. What is more important - it's against the rules and not safe. I checked during the tour and none of the other operators had more than 4 persons per row. Another point to note is that the guide did not give any information about the history, geology, evolution etc. of the monument valley. How did the rock formations come to be what is particular about their current state etc. Information was purely limited to the meaning of the monument valley to the native American tribes - something not indicated before I booked the tour. All-in all it would have been better to just drive the loop by your own car and save the fees. Come to think of it - this is what I would recommend that anyone with their own transport do.
Love the Scenery but not much info!
Phyllis_P, Aug 2022
At the beginning of our tour the driver said the speaker didn’t work. At that point he started our tour but did not give us any stories or information at each stop where we could see that other drivers were. I told him that I was disappointed that we didn’t have much information. So he started to say more to us. If he would take th time to fix the speakers before the trip starts it would do a lot more for our experience. Also, he could get better tips ($$).
Perfect short tour if your short on time!

The guide was fantastic providing information from a historical, cultural and personal perspective. We were lucky enough to only have our family of three in our tour group. Our guide and the tour were great. Once in a lifetime experience!!!

the tour is so much more rewarding then viewing from a hotel or highway. The Navajo history given during the tour was very interesting as were the stories about the film history in Monument Valley.
