  • Operates in all weather conditions; please dress appropriately
  • Near public transportation
  • Napa Valley Wine Trolley operates “Rain or Shine” year-round. However, if there is a chance of rain, high winds, or unforeseen mechanical problems, we may have to substitute the trolley for a mini-bus. The Napa Valley Wine Trolley reserved the right to substitute or change tour stops at any time
  • The Trolley departs V Marketplace at 10:00 sharp. Do not be late.
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • Most travelers can participate
  • Foreign language guides offered with notice: Spanish, French and Mandarin. Please contact the supplier directly after booking

    Tour guide and trolley driver, Dylan, was very personable and we had a ball on the Napa Wine Trolley. He was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about the area. Our guide at the castle, Kerry, was really terrific. That was our favorite stop. Lunch was delicious at Berringer -our compliments to the catering company. We had a great experience and would recommend to all!!

    The castle was beautiful, and we enjoyed the tasting. We visited 3 vineyards on the tour. A little chilly, but not bad in the center section of the trolley.

    Trolley tour was nice and convenient, with great views! Loved riding in the open air through this beautiful valley. The castle was spectacular. Could’ve used a little more time, but a great introduction, nonetheless. Lunch at second stop felt elegant and food was tasty. Last stop was a good wind down to the day with a real nice break down of the wine making process. Would highly recommend!

    The castle is the selling point. More time at the main attraction. Less time at pushy wineries with poor service and overpriced upsales and tastings. Would not suggest this to others.

    Very sorry about your disappointment on the tour. Merryvale is one of the top rated stops along with the history the offer and some great wine.     AMAZING TOUR!! We had the best time! The tour guide was great the castle was the most beautiful spot and lunch was delicious!

    This was fun but you were made to feel obligated to pay for the tastings. The castle was nearly $130 US for 2 people. No tour, no explanations, no nothing just dumped there. Our tour guide was boring, no personality, no suggestions, non informative. Bordered on rude. Sorry Michael. You are better off having your own driver. The trolley was an “experience” but not worth it at the end of the day. Nothing included at the wineries as part of the trolley tour.

    Thank you for your comments. We don't normally hear anyone say that our tours are not exciting. After all you are tasting wine in a castle built as if it was in the 1400's. Our website does state that the tasting fees are not included. In comparison to what tastings throughout he valley costs ours are on the least expensive side. Same with our tour, it is one of if not the lowest cost ticket in the valley. I will of course look into Michaels narrative and make sure that is all happening as it should. But if you look further down on these reviews you will see how pleased everyone usually is. If you had choose to have your own driver tasting fees still would not be included.

    We had the most lovely guide and the tour is just amazing! The city and the views are perfect and all the wineries were super frendly, welcoming and had amazing wine. Would for sure do it again and recomend it!

    the information is not clear, the title of the tour says that it has a tasting, but it is not. the tour is through 4 vineyards and in each one you have to pay 50 dollars per tasting, you need to update the name or information

    This tour took us to four wineries in Napa valley. The most popular is the Castello di Amorosa. Pick up and drop off was convenient. Our driver tried really hard to keep everyone on time and ready to go to our next destination. None of the wineries’ tasting fees are included in the price you pay for the tour, so keep that in mind when booking.

    Our family of six (all adults) had a wonderful day. The three wineries on the tour gave us a nice overview of the numerous small wineries in the valley. Their guides were informative and the wine tastings enjoyable. Since the weather was cool, the open air section of the trolley was a bit uncomfortable, especially at higher speeds but with proper outerwear it would not be an issue. Some of our party was unprepared but once we were able to move to the enclosed area, it was perfect. Lunch was delicious. Dillon, our driver made the day stress free and enjoyable. Would recommend this tour to others.

    Great girls trip activity. Jay was Informative and entertaining. The castle was a nice tour and tasting and the weather was perfect to be on an open air trolley.

    We got on the trolley in Yountville. Our tour guide for the trolley was not good. He didn’t have much interesting to say; also wasn’t easy to hear. Lunch was not great either. A good salad, and 1/2 sandwich. Still waiting for the other 1/2. Wine tasting and castle tour with Kerry were outstanding.

    This was my first trip to Napa Valley. Everything from start to finish about booking and visiting the castle and doing the wine tasting went extremely well. No problems whatsoever. I would do this particular wine trolley and castle tour in a heartbeat. The tour is very thorough and interesting. The tour guide takes you through eight floors and the wine tasting is the best experience I've ever had doing a wine tasting. The ladies really make it fun and last a long time. You get five choices. You can buy a bottle right then and there or have it shipped to your home address. If your in Napa Valley and looking for a unique one of a kind experience this is it!! don't miss it!!

    Enjoyed this tour immensely! From start to finish it was a great tour. Out tran guide was very entertaining and enthusiastic. The highlight of the tour was of course Castillo de Amorosa. Gary, our wine tour guide was funny, entertaining and an expert in everything. Would recommend this tour to everyone. Would just suggest a bit of an upgrade with the lunch picnic though. Maybe add some cheese and pasta instead of just sandwiches.
