Fell in Love with Naples!

Breathtaking views of Mt. Vesuvius from the port of Naples! My guide, Armando, was born and raised in Naples and shared his extensive knowledge of the city's rich history. I never knew how many different cultures had claimed Naples as their own, before it became part of Italy. The Greeks, the Spanish, the French, the Normans and more are all part of the cultural diversity of the city. Armando showed me many buildings where you could still clearly see the layers of limestone that the Greeks used in building and then the bricks that the Romans used, on top. My walking tour included many beautiful sites in the city. Best of all, I got Armando's personal list of great restaurants and pizzerias - delicious! I could not have asked for a better guide!!!

Our guide, Milly, was very informative; she shared a lot of history of Naples and more recent information about the Old Town, Spanish Quarter etc. She pointed out loads of things that we wouldn't have noticed on our own and was overall very helpful and friendly. Our tour experience started on time and she was great communicating with the meeting point beforehand. Overall, I would highly recommend the tour with Milly.

Our tour guide, Vincenzo, was perfect. His knowledge of Naples and the history of Italy was excellent. He took us places that were truly hidden gems-the Palazzo Venezia is not to be missed.

Not good !! Didn’t go to all the areas .. break isn’t needed . I wanted to see the land marks but instead we stayed on streets and went to a soccer area

We toured with Nino who was a terrific guide! We liked how he engaged with us right away by asking what impressions we had of the city before we came. We said the usual things that people hear: dirty, crowded, mafia etc. He then explained where these ideas come from and proceeded to show and share lots of interesting history. I thought I would get tired on a 3 hour tour but because he is so good, I didn't. We saw all the items listed in the description. His passion for his city shines through I'll definitely book a tour like this again!
Excellent Walking Tour of Naples

This walking tour was an excellent way get a real feel for Naples. Our wonderful tour guide MariaRosaria took us to numerous venues that we’d seen on travel videos and we were so glad to experience such as the Spanish Quarter, various markets selling fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, and the famous Christmas market. She explained the traditions and the history of these areas. We visited cathedrals and churches built in different styles, the Galleria Umberto and plazas. Our guide was also very flexible and tailored the tour to both our interests and energy levels. A well timed espresso and a pastry in a small café was also appreciated. This tour certainly met and exceeded our expectations.

Nino Pezzullo was our tour guide. He had an incredible knowledge and understanding of the history of Naples. It was a long tour, so I recommend that people put on their sneakers; because they will get an incredible tour of the beautiful Naples coast line as well as a walking tour of the Naples neighborhoods and historic district. You walk away with a very complete appreciation for the city, its character and history. Nino also knows where to go for food so you’ll get it taste of the local delicacies.

Gennaro is the absolute best tour guide I have ever had. We got way more than what we bargained for. We got to learn so much about Naples, and we honestly fell in love with the city in a way we wouldn't have without this tour. We highly recommend you add on the food tour as well. The combination of the two was the best. We learned so much and tried the best food in Naples while hanging out with the coolest guy!

Nino was one of the best walking tour guides I’ve ever had (and I’ve done quite a few walking tours). His passion (and knowledge) for Napoli is infectious, and made us fall in love with the city he calls home. He has extensive background info about the history and culture of the city and he taught us all about Napolis 4 “golds” -mozzarella (white gold) -pasta (yellow gold) -tomatoes (red gold) -coffee (black gold) Great job Nino!

Ger was a great guide! We ended up going a bit later in the afternoon than scheduled (which was fine!) and he was kind enough to send me tips on where to visit during the day that I never would have thought to visit. So the entire day in Naples was awesome thanks to his recommendations. He is very knowledgable of the history of Naples - but also, as a traveler himself - bring a different perspective of the city and its history. A great visit and a great guide! Thank you Ger!

It was a great experience with a great guide Raffaele. He made the discover of naple unic. He knows his sujet and we can feel his passion for history.. he drove us through hidden place such has a garden in a palazzo….to cut it short Starting the first day with this visit was really a must…

A good tour to do on the first day in Naples. The tour gives you an understanding on what to do in Naples and it is organized by a local. The tour is not focused on the history of the city, but rather helps you orient yourself and gives you an idea on what there is to do. Rosellina was very nice and she was kind enough to give us a few restaurant recommendations as well as things to do and see (she even bought some fiocchi di neve for us). The tour could have been a bit more informative regarding the history of the city as this was our first time in Naples; however, we did receive good recommendations that informed us on what we could do during our stay. Overall, a pleasant experience.
