Overall, AMAZING experience. We were on a cruise that didn’t offer this excursion. The only thing that was not great was finding the tour guide at the beginning. Luckily, we asked a random tour guide from World Tours and he brought us to the correct place. I think this actually might be owned by World Tours or something. Walter (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and funny. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t see the town of Positano up close, but the town of Amalfi was still neat to see. We only saw Positano from up top from pretty far away. I would recommend doing a smaller group (ours was about 10 people in a transit van) because if we were in any bigger of a bus, the driving situation would’ve been more stressful than it already was. Drivers in Naples are pretty erratic and there were several very windy and tight roads we went on. The lunch provided was delicious (we had spaghetti and salad). If you’re considering this trip, do it!

They told us they had emailed us month and half ago to tell us it's not a hotel pick up. Never received the email or a what's app message. We called them as no one showed up and it was a complete brush off and we lost the money. They wouldn't allow us to book on a different day. Very disappointed in this tour and it's operator. My advice don't book with them there is plenty of other tours.horrible experience

Tour in Pompeiji was good. But we expexted More about our Amalfi tour. We stoped only one panoramic wiewpoint. Forexample lovely Positano without stopping. Instead of that we wisited comercial Limoncello factory.

The actual drive to Amalfi coast was incredible. Wonderful views and enough time at the stops for photos and to appreciate the beauty. Then on to Pompeii, which was very interesting with a wonderful tour by Nancy. Going to Amalfi coast was perfect for a day trip. I would not want to stay in that area for more than a few hours , much too crowded and touristy, but if you have not seen the natural beauty of the area it is a must see. Giovanni, the tour guide and the driver did a great job.

There are probably better choices

This was not a tour so much as a shared ride to Amalfi. The "guide" would occasionally point out some building or geographic feature. However, his misuse of the microphone caused his voice to be distorted over the sound system in the van -- this coupled with his heavily-accented English caused most of what he had to offer to go unrecognized. The stop at Pompeii on our return was a bit better. We could hear and understand the Pompeii guide. However, I don't feel that this tour was well designed. We were not given an appreciation of the the scope and layout of the city. Rather, it seemed as if we just wandered around with the guide pointing out random sights. While we got what the title advertised -- a trip to Amalfi & a tour of Pompeii -- I can't recommend the product as it was delivered. Although, in the hands of different guides, it could be a different experience.

The sights this tour takes you to are amazing! Amalfi, positano and sorrento and beautiful. Pompeii, if you are a fan of history, is a humbling experience. The Pompeii guide seemed to genuinely enjoy his work, which is nice! Now, the downside. The communication from the start was very poor. The pick up spot was communicated to one couple and not the other. Also our driver was an hour late, making our time on the coast shorter. There was no menu for lunch, you were just given food that again, was not communicated to you. Also, if you get slightly carsick, make sure you pack Dramamine. There are several small mountain roads with switchbacks, and your stomach can start to feel it!

There was no communication about where to meet our driver at the Naples port. After waiting by our ship for 15 minutes past the meeting time and no driver showed up, ship personnel suggested we walk half a mile to Moro Bello to find our driver. Extremely stressful. After arriving at Moro Bello, there was no sign of our driver. We had to ask other tour operators to help us call Viator to find out where our driver was. Viator was vague at first but then finally an hour after our pick up time, Viator said to wait where we were and the driver would be there in a couple of minutes. He came and we enjoyed the tour but would not recommend this to anyone because it is too difficult to hook up with your driver at the Naples port. It was pandemonium with passengers from all ships having trouble connecting with their drivers. The biggest negative was Viator never communicated to me that their driver was late and where we should go to find him. A very stressful start to the day.

Irresponsable pick up

Good day, The person from the local tour company arrived 43mins late while I was engaging with Viator over the phone… On location, there was nobody to tell us anything about the tour after a change of departure time from 8:00 to 7:30am as received by email the day before from Aviator, no reply to my email sent at 7:30am from location proving we were there on time (with picture), the people in the hotel was not informed, I did not receive any update for late departure, or contacted by Viator. Furthermore, when asked the driver why he was arriving so late he said he was busy and got upset. I tried to show him the new departure time from the received email on departure at 7:30am and he refused and said that he didn’t care. So, we didn’t go and I am requesting a full refund from Aviator.

P Pompeii was wonderful and the guide there was outstanding. The tour guide, Maria, was more interested in talking to the bus driver then to us and was just doing her job. She gave us minimal information where she could’ve given us lots more colour and made it far more interesting for us. The lunch was OK but she told us we were going to get some seafood and nothing happened. The bus driver was great! How he managed all of those very winding roads was a miracle. It would have been more convincing if he had known his way into Pompeii though .

While I loved the limoncello and found the Pompeii tour fascinating, it was the views of the Amalfi Coast that made this tour absolutely unforgettable. I fell in love with Positano and hope I can go back for an extended stay. Everything about the tour operations were first rate. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, while the driver had nerves of steel. There is no way I'd want to drive a bus along that route!!

Very winding but scenic trip to Almafi Coast. Beautiful drive but maybe bothersome to some with motion sickness. Really enjoyed Pompeii. Tour guide, Nancy, was very knowledgeable and brought us through all the highlights of Pompeii which was worth a visit
