Simone is a wonderful English tour guide. He has everyone taken care of and great stories to share. It’s amazing to get to know Naples from underground. It helps a lot to understand today’s local culture, people based on what this area has gone through along the years One hour is the ideal time for a tour in the city. Fun walking through the tunnels. Amazing to learn the aqueducts we’re started by the Greeks and that they were used to store rubble from bombings of WW2 and housed thousands during bombing raids. Simone the English speaking guide was funny and engaging.

The tunnels! We were assured of the length and height of the tunnels which made them very non threatening. Loved the history of the tunnels from the origin to present day clearing. Enjoyed hearing of the little monks and, of course, the “chillies” good luck symbols. The staircase down was wonderful.
