This is a great agency to book with! My partner and I originally only booked a transfer from Naples to Positano but booked the return transfer as well after such a great experience. Both drivers were incredibly nice and professional. The drives were stress free, comfortable, and relaxing. Thank you specially to Natalie, Igor, and Giuseppe.

More Than Just A Transfer!

The time seemed to fly by with our wonderful driver John. He made the long ride from Rome to Positano a pleasant afternoon. He was quick to attend to our luggage, educated us on lots of history along the way, and gave us perfect restaurant suggestions. This was more than just a transfer!

Driver was prompt and waited while we needed to use the restroom coming off the train before our drive to Positano. He helped with our luggage. The car was clean and air conditioned. It was a smooth ride.

Airport Naples to Positano

Communication prior to the trip was great. Giuseppe met us at the airport with a sign and promptly had us on our way. He explained the history of Naples, made us laugh, and navigated the traffic amazingly! Definitely recommend!

Our driver/chauffeur Giuseppe was excellent! He arrived promptly on time and expertly navigated the streets of Positano (which he should receive a medal for, on it's own. Positano streets are wild) before dropping us off in Naples. His English and Italian are excellent and we had great conversation with him on the journey - he shared lots of litalian history with us. He went out of his way to make sure that we could get into our hotel when we ran into trouble (hotel reception was closed and neither of us had cell phone signal to resolve the issue). Both my wife and I were really impressed and hope that anyone traveling with this company gets to ride with Giuseppe. A+++++ As far as the rest of the reservation, the booking company was prompt to answer our questions (Natalie was very helpful). I would definitely recommend others to travel with this company.

We used this driving service to get to Positano and back from Naples. The drives are very good and experienced in handling the amalfi drive / narrow roads. They were professional, on time , and the cars were clean. Highly recommend this service. One drive even let me sit up front since I get car sick easily. 5 stars!

Not so great…

A great plan in general but not so much if trains are delayed, unfortunately. Our train was delayed 60 mins and delay was communicated. Arrived at 4:11 into train station and driver posted at 5:25. Once we arrived, I was told driver was delayed given our train delay and to grab a coffee or lunch. Instead of waiting, I asked for a full refund of the $225+USD so we could grab a cab instead. Communication was then delayed and sporadic and I was told I would have to discuss with Viator so instead, we were left waiting in the train station for 1 hour +++ when it would have been more timely and efficient to grab a cab. When the driver arrived (VERY nice btw but not our original scheduled driver given the delay) he barely had room for our 4 suitcases which were communicated beforehand. Given the schedule change, completely understandable but would have been nice had they sent a car to accommodate our 3 passengers and 4 suitcases. The driver was skeptical but after some maneuvering, we were able to squeeze 3 suitcases in the truck and 1 in the backseat. Long day and long wait in the train station and would have much preferred to grab a taxi and avoid the 1 hour ++++ wait but wasn’t an option.

Dear Ms Tracy, I'm sorry that you wrote this review, however I do understand your anger, first for the 1 hour +++ of the train delay and then your wait for the driver. Without trying to find justifications or excuses, I can reassure you that Sunday 5th of june, it has been a very busy and cotic day and I do not mean for The Chauffeur of Positano, but for all of the people arriving in Naples by train and all the car and taxi services working in the area. Due to a previous accident on the train line from Rome to Naples, the whole of the system has gone into tilt, causing long train delays up to 4 and a half hours. As the logistics manager of this company, I take full responsibility for the delay you have suffered, but it was beyond our control, and I can assure you that we did our best given the circumstances. However, what I find very unfair is that you criticize the work that we do in the way we do it for $ 225 USD (which, incidentally, are not destined all to us). Over the years our clients keep coming back and refer their friends and family to us, and one of the main reasons, and also the thing that we are very proud of, is that we never put our financial interest before the safety, comfort and needs of our customers. You are free to keep your idea, but please trust me when I say that my decision to send you a different car and make you wait, was made in your own interest, knowing that you would have never of found a taxi willing to take you to Positano, for a reasonable price on that day, with 7 km of traffic queue coming back from the Amalfi Coast, which you had way of see for yourself on your way to Positano. Trust me when I said that especially on Sunday the 5th, it would have been much easier for us to allow Viator to reimburse your money and leave you stranded in the train station. To be fair to all those people that work very hard every day to ensure to thousands and thousands of tourists a comfortable and pleasant hospitality in this country, I hope that you will change your mind on what happened to you and look at it from a different perspective. I wish you a wonderful time in Positano. Giuseppe

Giuseppe picked us up promptly at the train station in Naples for our transfer to Positano with a stop in Pompeii. We spent 2 hours exploring Pompeii with our wonderful guide and then headed on to Positano. Giuseppe provided many suggestions and valuable information regarding the area. Highly recommended!
