Not worth the money

Line at check-in was ridiculous. Not great organization and we waited for people who were arrived late, which pushed departure later. Average rating because half of our party left the tour early (3 of 6). Three that left couldn’t leave fast enough—the tour guide was not great. Three that stayed liked it fine, learned new things so they enjoyed it.

Beginning of the tour didn't go so well. We were not notified until we had already reported to another location that we were meeting a half mile away in another location. Had we not all been able bodied enough to basically book it through a parade, crowds, and the busyness of the quarter, we may not have made the tour.
Once that was settled, though, our guide, Jody was awesome. She was chill, knowledgeable, and easy to listen to. We appreciated that she took her time with explaining the different sites and stories. She gave some graphic info, but it set the scene for a lot of the historical sites we visited. She was also kind enough to give us some tips at the end of the tour about where to go/not to go and left us with a happy vibe.

Crystal was a great tour guide! She was informative of each spot we visit and we also stopped at gift shops. I do appreciate her caring for her group as well. Recommend her as a guide :)

Meeting place was good. The tour was not what was advertised. Couldn’t hear the guide, spoke really fast. Honestly it was so boring, a group of us were trying to leave early but didn’t want to be disrespectful, but just couldn’t take it any longer. Left 15 minutes before the end. Would not recommend

Julia was wonderful- knowledgeable, fun and made sure everyone was safe and able to hear. We loved that this tour was less about ghosts wandering around and more about how things like VooDoo and Vampires came to be well known parts of the culture of the city. Julia clearly knows & loves the city and did a great job keeping the rowdy guy in our crowd in check 😁
