Amazing displays and artifacts. I saw and learned so much more than I anticipated. The life size blue whale and the dinosaur exhibits were A plus. I will have to make many more trips to go through exhibits that I missed.

Getting in was the hardest part.

The museum has some really wonderful exhibits…but there were two major issues…the first being you can’t just buy a ticket, put it on your phone and then scan it when you enter. I paid for the tickets (via Viator), then had to go online, made a reservation to enter…then when we entered, we still had to stand in another line for ½ hour to get our “voucher” converted to a ticket! Unbelievable - no other museum we’ve been to has had such an archaic process. As for the space-related theatre presentation…it was disappointing. I felt like a novice would be lost trying to follow it…and someone with knowledge of space would be bored. They need to update those programs. The gems and minerals exhibit was interesting…and we loved all the dinosaurs (of course)…just make it easier to get in and everyone will enjoy it more!

We stood outside in the rain for what felt like an hour to get in. The map is confusing. They should really have some marks on the floors directing you the right way. We found things by accident most of the time

It's difficult to say what was the most memorable part, but certainly that was titanosaurs rex skeleton and other real sized models of animals

Wonderful but difficult for seniors - lot to see.

Dinasaur exhibits were amazing. Human evolution exhibit was eye opening. Very informative!! We appreciated the numerous elevators, as we are seniors. The little cafes had good food and lines were fast.

It was too complicated getting tickets. It was nearly 20 minutes to get my tickets. There should be an option to download purchased ticket to your phone just like everywhere else

Line so long I gave up

I tried to buy a timed ticket at the museum sight but the site would never let me.go to checkout. So I bought a general admission ticket from Viator. Went to the museum only to find that the line double backed on itself foe a whole block. Clearly would be hours before I got in. So I gave up and walked in Central Park instead

The line was ridiculous and the staff were disorganized. Most importantly I had no idea I would have to stay in another line for 45 minutes to REDEEM my tickets purchased through Viator. We paid the exact amount as the museum offered at the spot. I used Viator because I used the platform for other activities. Please book the tickets directly from the museum website so you can wait in a shorter line or get a membership to cut all the lines. There are way much better Natural museums in the States like the ones DC and Chicago. They are free and they offer a great experience to everyone. It’s really cruel and unnecessary for kids to wait in line for so long!!!!

Awesome experience! Everything at the museum is admirable ; one improvement - we booked the tickets online and received the voucher days in advance, but still had to stand in a long queue for an hour or so to get the “actual” tickets for entry . What the heck !

I requested a refund thinking the line was so long I couldn't get in but went to another entrance and thankfully got access to the museum. The exhibits were good and the atmosphere was great along with the architecture of the building, loved being there. But the gift shops are very overpriced and don't have great gifts or souvenirs in my opinion. The items should be more costly since the museum needs to make money but it just makes me not want to buy anything seeing as I can go to Astros emporium of fossils, gems and minerals and get actual gems and fossils or shark teeth for a comparable price to a simple shirt at the museum. The museum will lose out on money because of that. Also the food options aren't great. Love the amount of stuff to see and learn about there, but overall was alright compared to the Smithsonian in WASHINGTON DC in my view.

Deceptive !!! Bought tickets ahead of time and reserved an entry time only to get there and stand on line for over 1 hour with people who did not have tickets. No will call pick up as stated. It was smelly, hot and disgusting. As a New Yorker bringing my grand kids 6 and 9 years old for the 2nd time it was a big mistake. The exhibits were the same but didn't seem as authentic. Over crowded, air conditioning wasn't working, hand sanitizers empty. UNHEALTHY!!!

All the different exhibits were the best part of the trip to the Natural History Museum. I would have preferred not to wait in the ticket line since I had already paid for the tickets. We also needed to reserve admission time through the Museum.
