NYC at night.

This was a evening/night tour. Rachel and Juan were great. Rachel as the guide knew alot about the city and history of buildings, architecture, bridges, people and how the city evolved. Very enthusiastic as a guide. We got to see parts of NYC that we would never have seen. The high line garden, little island that was a tulip shaped garden, and three bridges. Brooklyn, Manhattan, Williamsburg, Central Station. We also did Rockefeller center. We saved our tickets for the Top till next day once we learned we had to wait an hour to get the 10 pm entrance. This turned out to be our last stop even though the online description didn’t indicate that. Bus and guide dropped us off there. Our hotel was not too far but we were dragging after a long day out and about.

A great tour for us even with several previous visits to NYC! This time we took our 18 year old granddaughter, her first time in the city. This was indeed one of the best tours ever! Our guide, Rachel was more than knowledgeable and even shared links and ideas to many other places she knew personally, like 'Junior's restaurant!' And it was also amazing!! We were each inspired and this tour saved us 4 cab rides or more to have covered the ground we did in perfect timing! We have learned over time tours like this create very special memories! Thanks Rachel for making several pictures of us to enjoy for a lifetime!

Night time tour

Meant to have an open top bus had a single decked mini bus there was 13 of us The mini bus had blacked out windows making outside look darker than it actually was Tour guide was rude at the beginning but ok in the end Was dropped back at times square just gone 9pm It was still light (not exactly a night time tour ) more like an evening tour Thought the tour was going to be times square at night

Chelsea Park and the Hudson River parts of the tour. it was also fun to see the Statue of Liberty even though it was far away. I had already been to many of the stops that were on the tour. I wish we would have included Little Italy and Chinatown.

Our guide, Oren, was wonderful. Very patient, knowledgeable and kind. However, the problems were aviators own. Tour meeting info was scant. We navigated the unknown crowded streets of NYC’s 7th Street TWICE before we found the pickup site for our tour. IF Viator had given a site map; a photo of the front of the “Winter Garden” meeting spot, or answered the 2 emails I sent, we would’ve been far more confident about our trip. IF Viator had been more descriptive of the number of steps to climb and distances to walk, then the three persons who just COULD NOT keep up or make it to the sites. Because we all felt compelled to wait for these persons with canes, walkers and leg splints, we were unable to visit all of the advertised sites. The public park around 9-11 was closed. We missed the Grand Central Station because it had gotten so late and our party needed to be up early. Accurate descriptions of the distances and climbs, poor choices for rest stops (toilets) and no one answering the emails… Bummer.

We originally book this tour because it was supposed to be a glass top bus. They informed us 2 days before that bus wasn’t available and did we want to keep the tour with a closed bus. Unfortunately, we kept the reservation. It is terrible going through New York in a closed van, you can’t see anything! The guide would point things out, but we couldn’t see it. There was also a lot more walking than we anticipated. The bus was a wreck, we were in the back and got bounced around—it was also super noisy. The van driver took off before everyone was seated and he did not keep the air on. The guide seemed kind of arrogant when he was asked questions. Overall not a good experience. We were only in NYC 2 nights and I felt like I wasted this one.

Excellent tour with guide “Postcard” Tim & driver Manny. Lots of commentary & 6 guided walks off the 40 passenger van. Make sure you eat before you go—4 hours at dinner time is a long time (5:30-9:30 pm). Recommend it!

Value for money package . We get to hear some relevant history about popular landmarks in NY while travelling on a clean and comfortable bus . The walking trips were also well managed and not very tiring . Although r occasional showers can spoil your plans for outdoor fun.

This is a must do tour in my opinion. It takes in locations that are not on the main sight seeing list, and ultimately very cool. Highlights were the high line, South Street port and Grand Central Station. Postcard Tim was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. Our only disappointment (not the tour company's fault) was that the top of the rock observatory wouldn't admit us for a further hour, ultimately we exchanged vouchers for another day but still a disappointing end to an excellent tour. Works exceptionally well with the day tour, but do them on separate days!
