I appreciated that it was a semi-private tour. It was easier to ask questions and felt more personalized Our your guide, Thomas, made sure he interacted with each person on the tour

A local’s perspective of NYC

There were so many but I think to be shown an incredible dumpling restaurant that would otherwise be disregarded was priceless. Elle was so warm and enthusiastic which made each detail of NYC so interesting!

Buddhist temple, new streets and restaurants, beautiful day to walk thru city streets. Learning about the evolution of neighborhoods thru financial forces, immigration, & cultural and artistic influences.

It was fun learning about the history of the neighborhoods and how they continue to evolve today. Alex is a great guide. He obviously loves his adopted city. Having traveled all the way from Detroit, we enjoyed joining the others from Germany, England and Italy.

It was an Okay trip! Probably should find more shade for tourists when stopping to listen to tour guide, as it was very hot that day. No real stops in China town, which I figured there would be. No bathrooms on route and when we got to the end where there was a bathroom, well I definitely don't recommend that at all. Gross! Disappointed that there weren't that many stops in either place, but I guess that's why it's a walking tour. Wear sneakers, that's for sure.
Billy_P, Jun 2022
Christine was very knowledgeable of not only the neighborhoods we visited on the tour but in all of NYC neighborhoods. Very knowledgeable of things to do and notable restaurants.
Rachel_L, Jun 2022
Went all the way to NYC just to miss the tour. What a waste of time and money. $94 that I will never see again.
