The Kaneohe Sandbar is one of the best places around Oahu for swimming and snorkeling. But, without your own boat, it's tricky to get there. This boat trip does all the hard work for you so that you can relax on board as you cruise to the sandbar then spend your time as you please, whether by jumping into the water, spotting turtles or just soaking up the sun and scenery.

[Meeting Time] 15 minutes before the start time. [Meeting Point] Slip #316 under "CAPTAIN BRUCE" sign. [Parking] Parking area in the Heʻeia Kea Boat Harbor. DO NOT park tow-away zone. Please note that the parking gets busy on Saturday. We suggest you arrive a little early to find parking space.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

A nonswimmers’ dream!

My husband and I had the best time on this excursion. While I was super excited about this, I was also a little worried because I am a poor swimmer. The sandbar was the perfect depth for me to have fun yet still feel comfortable in the water. When it was time to snorkel they did and excellent tutorial and gave life vests and extra floatation devices with a member of the crew with us for extra safety. It was an incredible experience that I would never have gone on by myself. I sincerely appreciated how safe I felt in the water thanks to their help. Thanks Karen!!

I couldn’t not leave a review after the amazing experience we had with those girls. They made all possible effort to make my partner comfortable in the water since he’s doesn’t really know how to swim. They helped us all the time and he even got a chance to snork cause one of the girls was literally attach to him and by his side holding a float all the time. We also got time to just chill and do sone paddle boarding (there is no waves so it’s easier). I appreciate all the team and would recommend then 10000 times.

My family and I did 4 activities in Hawaii and this was ALL of our favorites! The crew were all super chill, funny, and sweet. The sandbar was really cool and we got to do whatever we wanted—paddleboard, swim, relax, take pictures, etc. They also provided food, snacks, and drinks, which was really nice. Snorkling was AMAZING! We got to see a lot of fishes as well as really big turtles! I can't swim, but the captain was able to bring this floater thing to pull me and a few others while we snorkled. So, if you can't swim, tell the crew!

What an amazing day! Our crew was so great, and the weather was perfect! The best part for me was swimming side by side with a sea turtle... unforgettable experience! I highly recommend, just make sure you have plenty of sunscreen!

The captain took extra time and care in helping me dive down to see the turtle sleeping under the coral. When the turtle came up for air I was in the optimal position to get pics with my under water camera! Magical ❤️💯

Vacation with Mom

My mom isn’t a strong swimmer and has never snorkelled before but the sandbar was shallow enough for her to enjoy without issues and during the snorkelling portion the team went above and beyond to help my mom who was panicking a little with the deeper waters and gear. She ended up seeing a couple of sea-turtles and a bunch of fish, which she really enjoyed! I’d highly recommend and honestly wished I brought more cash to put in the tip jar!

The crew was amazing and super fun! We managed to see some turtles while snorkeling. They had plenty snacks and drinks and I felt very well taken care of! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because unfortunately we had no sun and the mountains were pretty covered by clouds - nothing they can’t do about it but I was especially stoked about the view and the super blue water when the sun was out. Better luck next time I guess!

The crew and the whole experience was so much fun! Even though the weather wasn’t great, we hot to do everything! The snorkeling was especially awesome. We got to see turtles and colorful fish. The water activities were relaxing and fun. The crew was friendly and full of great energy!

fun fill day

Kids loved the sand bar and using the paddle boats. Snorkeling was a little scary but the tour guides and staff are super friendly and made it a breeze. They take the time to help beginners and people who cannot swim. A definite must do in Hawaii.
