What To Expect

Bring along your own food on the excursion, or enjoy complimentary snacks and nonalcoholic beverages on board. This tour operates in all weather conditions, so dress accordingly.

Board a monohull boat or catamaran with your small tour group and meet your friendly captain and crew, who have thousands of hours of whale-spotting under their belts. Listen as they share their knowledge about this majestic species and feel free to ask any questions. The gentle giants arrive in Hawaii in December and spend time splashing, breaching, feeding and swimming in the warm Hawaiian water. Watch for tail slaps, breaches and water spouting from the whale's blowholes.

In the unlikely event that you don't see any whales, you can return for a free ride trip and try again.

The boat was great, music was good, all the staff and captain were wonderful. Enjoyed the ride and saw some whales. The boat ride was good in itself and the bonus of seeing whales also. Just wish it was longer tour as the day was so great.

I decided to go on a whale watching tour for my birthday, because I love humpback whales. I thought for sure, that I would see a few at least. Sadly, there were no whales. The crew of this vessel were out of this world. They were so hospitable and joyous, that you could almost forget that you were on a whale watching tour, more like you were hanging out with friends. They had great music playing, they offered us snacks and drinks. The weather was beautiful and the ocean was calm. Even though I didn’t get to see any whales, I would honestly recommend this whale watching tour to everyone looking to have a great trip with a knowledgeable team in Oahu!

The staff was really lovely and friendly and the boat was clean and well kept. It was really enjoyable just being out on the water! They also provide two free alcoholic beverages per person which I didn't realize before our trip so that was a nice surprise. The only disappointing part was that we didn't see any whales during our excursion. They did give us a free re-ride voucher to try again before we left Hawaii, which we did but we also didn't see whales on that ride either. That was obviously out of the staff's control so I don't blame them, it was just a bummer.

It is always great to see whales and this was our third such excursion. This time we didn't see many whales although it was the time of year they would be there. Just how it goes with wild animals sometimes. The team did their best to make the trip memorable with some fast cruising in the boat.

The crew was well informed and friendly. Make sure you sunscreen up it gets bright on the water. Last be prepared. We saw whales within the first five minutes out of the dock.
