I had a great experience as a first-timer. Kailie, my surf instructor was amazing. She was patient and was just very nice. Enjoyed her instructions and her time. My issue was with Viator. Wish they were clear when you sign up for a class for 1 person. I had to pay extra $$ because it was just me. Nonetheless, thank you to Kailie for making my money worthwhile.

Awesome, patient & encouraging instructors

Joey & Tyler were amazing instructors, very patient & encouraging especially with an older unfit learner like myself. Am so happy I tried it as this was something I’d always wanted to do. Totally recommend this place for anyone.

Justice was a great teacher and we got to stand up on heaps of waves! Definitely would recommend this to everybody wanting to try surfing. It would be better if the photos were included in the price, or you could ask them not to take them at the start of the experience instead of being guilt tripped to buy them at the end but the experience itself otherwise was fantastic.

Title says it all... From the Midwest, always wanted to try, never took advantage of my chances when I was younger. Eric was our instructor & it was everything they say it is the first time you stand up. So glad we booked here. The experience was amazing. If you're thinking about, this is the place to go!!!

My daughters and friends really enjoyed their first time surfing with Taylor. We would highly recommend Taylor as she was very hands on and worked really well to get everyone in the group up and on the board. Definitely enjoyed themselves!

This was such an awesome experience!! My husband and I had never been surfing before and felt comfortable right away thanks to our very kind and patient instructor, Chase. We both surfed multiple waves and even had a sea turtle swim by us a couple of times. I am so glad we did this. Highlight of our trip!

Jake was my son's surf instructor... He went over the rules with him and took him out to the sea to surf... My son came back and had a amazing fun time and was able to ride some waves. I highly recommend Stoke Drift for your surf lessons.

Amazing experience! Me and my brother did a surf lesson with Eric and it was a really great experience. I'll definitely be back here next time I visit Hawaii! Eric is a great guy and really good instructor. It was my brother's first time and with Eric’s help we were able to catch quite a few waves from the beginning.

Excellent lesson for two teens with zero prior surfing experience. Instructor did a great job teaching on land until they got the hang of it then helped them get out and comfortable in the water. Both teens had multiple successful rides on their own and absolutely loved it. Both said it was the highlight of a 10 day Hawaiian vacation. Highly recommend.

Kalei was an incredible instructor, helping us get up on the board in no time! Be ready to paddle out to the wave location, but Kalei got us to the perfect spot to catch some awesome waves. Equipment was in great shape and the location was perfect on the beach. A photographer also took great pictures for purchase after the lesson, which came out great.
