  • Meet in front of Tourist Information Osaka (ground level, in front of the central gate of JR Osaka station at 9:50 am on tour day. Tour will start at exactly 10am.

  • The tour guide will hold an All Star Osaka yellow flag.
  • Most travelers can participate
  • We use subway twice. 410yen for adult, 210yen for child is needed.
  • We use escalators and some steps on the tour. Please mind baby with stroller.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We didn't have much time to spend in Osaka, so we booked this short tour. We visited some of Osaka's iconic places and we got a got to learn a bit of Osaka's history. Keiko was great! She was cheerful, patient, and funny. We had a yummy snack break and we received a few small gifts.

Our first experience of Osaka was this walking tour. I would recommend this tour to become familiar with the sights. It only went for a few hours and once finished we were able to continue and wander around at our own pace.

A great introduction to Osaka. Our guide Ichi was very knowledgable and friendly. Maybe a bit less time at Osaka station would have been good, but overall all of the locations were great and using the trains was very easy.

A Great Half Day Walking Tour of Osaka

Iche was a wonderful tour guide, he has excellent English and spoke with passion about Osaka. Thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour seeing the food and shopping streets and important sights of Osaka. Great to sample the Japanese skewers too.

Our guide Kaori took us around Osaka and showed us the most amazing places in Osaka from the markets in the train station to street food vendors where we sampled delicious food and met very nice local people this is a great introduction to Osaka and the culture of the city I would highly recommend Kaori as a great guide who is very knowledgeable and friendly thank you

Was great to walk around and learn some history about Osaka. The food element of this tour is only a little snack so eat before you go. It would’ve been great if it had a proper meal. Overall we had a good time though.

Very pleasant guide but to spend 45 minutes of a 3hr tour at Osaka station, as we are told its one of the cities great buildings, with so many clocks! Building is 12 yrs old and looks the same as any other station. Guide tried but we saw nothing beautiful or amazing- all three of us on the tour were shocked that these were classed as Osaka highlights!

Thank you for your honest review. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our tour especially the first part. This tour is focusing on the big gap of new and old Osaka. We show the modern face of Osaka on the first venue and show the old atmosphere and lively face at the end. We don't have many historical beautiful sites like the neighboring town Kyoto or Nara, but we have local uniqueness such as people's warm hearts, good tasty food or sense of humor. We tried to explain those uniqueness. Again, we feel sorry it didn't meet your expectations. We also have tours covering Osaka castle or Sumiyoshi taisha shrine that are known as beautiful scenery. Thank you.
