Disappointing start, ride into Venice lovely

Sadly we couldn’t start the cruise in padua as there wasn’t enough water in the canal. We had to walk to a bus and this took us to the first villa. Because of the disappointment a refreshment stop was added and another villa plus a shoe museum . We eventually picked up the boat, saw 2 more villas and then went into Venice. The canal bit was very uninteresting and once you’d seen one villa you had seen them all. I feel it’s a shame the company took our money the day before they told us there was no water. The ride into Venice was spectacular and our guide Francesca was knowledgeable and interesting and did her best to make the best out of a bad job. There was also too much ‘free time’ and the lunch which was extra was expensive.

Excellent river cruise and customer service. Villas are beautiful but you will spend about 20min at the most in each Villa. Lunch must reserve ahead of time for 30eur /meat full lunch. Tour ends in Venice very close to San Marcos square.

This is just a high quality tour no matter what one's point of view might be. The staff are skilled, helpful, and fun to work with, the villa tours are very well done, and all of the logistics work well. Individuals going on the tour should pay attention to the need to get back to Padova on one's own, as it can be a bit complicated, but the staff were great at explaining how to do that. I would recommend this tour highly.

This is a great way to get out to see some really excellent villas. The boat is comfortable and the commentary as you cruise down the canal very good. The individual tours were well managed and paced, with an excellent level of information. Passing through various villages and towns by boat gives an interesting perspective. At the end there is also the delight of approaching Venice across the lagoon.

My teenage son and I went on this trip. It was a fabulous boat and the guides were very informative. The trip was mainly made up of older people so I would bear this in mind when thinking of going with younger members of your family. He was interested but not captivated.

A wonderful way to visit the Venetian villas and the boat ride itself was an adventure in itself.
Much recommended and the staff was very helpful with the onward journey and information for Venice also. Lovely to be able to buy Bus tickets etc on board itself it saved a lot of time .The only wish for this lovely trip was to have more variety of snacks available on board.

This was a great tour--the river was lovely and the stops at the three villas were terrific. We passed on the multiple-course lunch and just ordered pasta which was incredible!! More lovely scenery, interesting narrative, and then we docked in Venice. A bonus was the fact that they had arranged for another boat to take us back to the train station at no extra cost! A wonderful way to spend a day in northern Italy.

La navigazione è sempre interessante , ma in alcuni punti è veramente imperdibile, le ville sono stupende, autentici pezzi di storia patria e non.
L'entrata in laguna , e l'arrivo a Venezia è un'esperienza imperdibile.
La guida veramente brava, simpatica e competente, direi all'altezza di un marco paolini.
