Lovely Evening Cruise

We took the 7pm cruise and on our return the Eiffel Tower was lit up and sparkling. It was beautiful.

Poor audio guide experience

The audio was poor and barely audible in the front top deck of the cruise. The audio guide on the mobile also did not work well. It was very patchy because the onboard WiFi was terrible and kept disconnecting.

Its a good trip and the commentary on the phone was a bit cheesy with the use of a 'Muse' but gave some good information. I prefer a more direct commentary with historical and interesting information, not the story telling style which I think was a bit confusing.

TERRIBLE TOUR

This was nothing more than a boat ride with NO explanation. They didn't tell you to bring your iphones and have the phone charged (ours were basically DEAD) and if you dont have one you cant hear the tour/narration. So it was a useless tour. My son had a batttery but no head phones so again, he couldnt even hear bc it was loud on the boat. Basically a waste of time!!

To be honest, the nighttime view from the Seine is gorgeous. I'd have liked if the boat captain and staff were nicer. It was hard to tell if we were I'm the right spot and they just weren't very friendly or helpful. Once we found our way on board there were a few groups of VERY LOUD passengers who made it impossible to hear the commentary. I'd have liked the staff to address this. The view is good but overall the tour was just so-so.

Short review of the Seine River cruise

The Cruse was very interesting, nice and comfortable. Man can enjoy in beautiful views on Eiffel Tower, bridges and other beautiful sights located next to the Seine River. We had some difficulties with translation but guide tried his best to explain sights on French, English and Spanish. I would recommend afternoon cruise.

The river was pretty, but I felt like I was herded on and off the boat. It was way too crowded, and the loudspeaker was very muffled and you couldn't understand what she was saying. Just too much.

Go at dusk!

Excellent uninterrupted views of the city from the river. We went at dusk and sat upstairs so the lit up buildings looked fantastic! At 8pm as we were returning the tower did it’s sparkling and that was amazing from the river. It was slow enough that we could take as many photos as we liked and still the hour flew by. Only issue we had was finding bateaux parisiens boat as there are so many down there. Also we didn’t use the audio tour as I didn’t have headphones with me and the packed boat was too noisy to hear otherwise.

Tour was very disappointing. The guide only pointed a few well known sites but very little commentary.
