Bus tour OK, river tour nice, if on the top level (many earphones don't work), but the tower at night was remarkable and never to be forgotten.
It was the perfect time in the evening as it was light when we left and we got to see the sunset and night fall!
That seems reasonable enough, except at night it is very difficult to find the bus.

Didn’t get what we paid for

The fact we did NOT get what we paid for was the most disappointing memory of this experience. The time was changed and we were told we couldn’t do the tour.. I stood my ground with the rude guide and demanded either my money back or the tickets… we got the tickets. The 3rd floor which we paid to go up to was closed, we also missed out on the coach ride, the boat ride was good, but even though we paid to avoid the queues we still had to queue for almost an hour at the boat before we got on and the same at the Eiffel Tower. We only got to the 2nd floor on the tower and it was pouring rain, so we couldn’t see much. By the time we were on the boat at 7pm the 3rd floor was opened up - too late for us. So we wasted quite a lot of money and had our once in a lifetime visit to the Eiffel Tower marred by rude guides and the fact we didn’t get what we paid for.

Our guide was On time and took us directly to the gate. Only a small line to get on the elevator. Tower was awesome, Tibet Cruise was excellent and informational.

Extremely unorganized, the entire experience wasn’t conducted how it was listed out on the booking. There was no guide, they basically just gave us our tickets and told us to go on our own. Complete waste of money.

Paris is a magical city and this evening cruise was exceptional. The lights, the sites, and the people are all lovely. The Eiffel tower glimmers and sparkles, the Seine cruise is romantic and soothing. Just being there and traveling through history, in a word Incredible.

Really organized guide. Night bus tour left at 11. We were not able to stay as the next day we had an amazing tour of Monet's House and Gardens, wonderful lunch and your of Versailles. Wish our bus tour could have been honored another night this week

One of the highlights of our visit to Paris. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour. The cruise was beautiful. The bus ride was informational, and the Eiffel Tower was spectacular.

My one criticism: our guide new there were 3 people using canes. It would've been much appreciated if he asked the boat crew to save seats for us, so we wouldn't tackle the stairs to find no seats. The same thing on the bus. We had to walk to the back of the bus, as even the handicap seats were taken by other people.

Lots of FAST walking involved from the tour office to the river, and from the bus to the tower. If you're not fit, or have a pram or children, be warned. The earpiece in the bus didn't work, so luckily the river cruise was well commentated, or I wouldn't have known what I was looking at. Our guide left us at the tower, which would have been fine until we realised half of the group tickets were for a later time slot, so we had to wait in line after all. The actual tour is fabulous, but the execution was lacking.

The tour was ok and I booked it last minute thinking it would be a good way to finish off our 5 day Paris visit. The river cruise was good took in the sites along the river bank and gave lots of opportunity to get good shots of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and more. The bus tour took us to a lot of important buildings but the biggest down side was the lights were left on inside the bus so it was impossible to take a good photo. We finally got to the grand finale, access to the second level of the Eiffel Tower but as we got to the doors the rude security guard who had just let several people from our group inside closed the doors and said that they weren’t letting anyone else in so we waited outside for about a half before we left. I’m sure my experience isn’t the norm as it was the hottest day on record but was very disappointing.

Medium at best. Unless you have never had the opportunity to look out over a city, the tower is nothing special. The lights are pretty "to quote my wife" however Unless you are there to eat at the restraint and have that kind of money. Forget it. Take a picture and forget the line.

Not has this tour gone downhill. Our guide never told us we’d be walking from the tour office to the Eiffel Tower. Last time we took a coach and it dropped us off afterwards at the same location. This time we were left on our own and told to take a cab back to our hotel from the Eiffel Tower. I could have just bought these tickets myself as transportation is no longer provides. Bummer.

This is not a tour your tour guide does not give you any information about and of the sites. They just drop you off and pick you up. If that is what you want pick this tour. What I was looking for was some one who would give me a little history of each place we were going to visit. And make sure you let your guest know the Eiffel Tower has the same restrictions as tsa. So we had to leave our items at the tour center and pick them up the next day. we would have not kept them with us if we knew in advance. Also the tour guide was not friendly.

Have been on many national and international Viator tours. Took this in May 2019 and unfortunately it was very disappointing and stressful. After meeting and waiting in the tour office, no reason given why we were waiting past the departure time, the group of over 50 people were quickly herded by foot to the River. The tour guide never seemed fazed that not everyone could walk as quickly as she could , which included children and a few older consumers. On the river cruise there was no narrated tour of what we were seeing. The boat has two levels, both packed, if one was sitting inside, lower level one could plug into a system on their phone if your phone had the capability. ( heard many didn’t) however upper deck, best views, but no information. After the rushed visit to the Eiffel Tower ( the views are amazing) we were told to make our way, on our own, to the buses which were near the river. As the tower block is totally enclosed for security reasons, it’s a challenge to exit at night and figure out directionality. Luckily this wasn’t our first day in Paris , we figured out where to go under time constraints.Not everyone could, people missed their bus tour. Paris at night is lovely ,the bus tour was narrated, included Paris’ gems. This tour could have been amazing. Our tour guide was disengaged, disorganized and appeared to just want the evening over. When asked a question, she seemed annoyed. Tour guides make all the difference. This women , who never even told us her name, was not up to Viator standards.

This was the only tour on my 10 day vacation that I booked through Viator I did not enjoy. Our guide was more of a host and babysitter to make sure we got from place to place. She was very sweet but there was no speaking of the history of the city or attractions. We started at around 8pm which is still light out and did an hour river cruise. There were speakers in different languages to explain the sites but none of them worked. So we looked at the map on the boat to kind of guide us of what we were seeing. After the cruise we went on a tour bus that drove around the city. By this time it was 9:30pm and dark you could hardly see what they were talking about on a pre-recorded guide. After the tour bus we went over to the Eiffel tower and had access to the second floor. I will say this was the highlight of the whole tour. The city is beautiful at night and the Eiffel tower all lit up is so much more beautiful and impressive then during the day. In my opinion find a night tour of the Eiffel tower or a cruise and Eiffel tower tour.
