Gabriel was our guide. My wife and I love art but are very ignorant when it comes to artists and the meaning and stories behind art. So, when we go to museums, we always hire a guide. Our experience with Gabriel was phenomenal. He was well versed in the art we saw and knew about the artists, their lives, and their inspirations. He provided the background for each piece with his amazing ability to translate the ideas into wonderful word pictures to enhance the viewing. I would recommend this tour, and especially Gabriel, to anyone visiting the Musee d’Orsay.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We were greeted by our guide, Cinthia, promptly at 10:30. The private tour of our group of four was a wonderful experience. We have toured the Musee d’Orsay on two previous occasions, but we learned so much more from Cinthia. She is very knowledgeable and develops an interesting timeline of the artists and events of the age of Impressionism. Her passion for the artists of the time really shows. Tour starting at 10:30. We arrived 5 minutes early and asked everyone in the square about your group with no results. Finally went into the museum tried to contact the guide with no response. The museum was really gracious in trying to help without success.

The guide sent you a message. She waited 5 minutes outside. The guide had to entre with the other part of the group, once inside guides cant answer the phone. The guide received à message at the end of the tour saying that you were waiting at the rhino statue. THE MEETING POINT IS AT THE ELEFANT STATUE. Sorry but you misread the information. The tour was given. You were at the wrong place. parisintour

Cynthia is a storyteller. She brought the artists, their paintings and history to life. I felt like I went to the Orsay with a friend. The 2 hours were perfect. Well worth the money. Will do this again and I highly recommend it and ask for Cynthia.

I was so pleased that I opted to take a guided tour. My guide was exceptional in presenting the history of the pieces of art and their painters. She kept me totally engaged with her wonderful insight into the art and kept me thinking by asking me great questions about what I was seeing in the different artist’s work. I absolutely loved her, the museum, and the art.

The best 2.5 hours spent at Musee d’Orsay

My brother and I signed up for the 6 person guided tour of Musee d’Orsay. As luck would have it we were the only people on the tour and even better Cinthia Ramirez was our guide! She was super! She not only talked about art but went to great lengths to put it in the Socio-economic context of the times. When the two hours allotted for the tour expired Cinthia spent another 30 minutes to cover Van Gough. Highly recommend

Amazing visit to Orsay Museum

We were a family of two kids in different age group. One was 15 and other was 10. Our guide Cynthia was excellent she knew how to keep the visit interesting and stimulating for the kids. We learnt a lot with Cynthia who was informative and experienced.

Our guide Cynthia was outstanding! Her knowledge and & interesting way of explaining the art represented in the museum made the art history come to life. She reduced a wealth of information into a basic, simplified overview of the development of Impressionist art. If only classroom teachers could convey the same information with such passion! My teen granddaughter loved it.

Doing a tour of the orsay was wonderful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us the history behind the building and the artwork. It can be very overwhelming to go in on your own, this is a great easy too see all the highlights of the museum.
