    Awe inspiring visit to the palace

    The priority admission was great. Although there was a line that appeared long it moved quickly. The hall of mirrors was amazing to see. The shear opulence of the Palace was stunning.

    POSITIVES: This place is incredible. Just when you think you've seen everything, another room has something more amazing than the last. The place is massive and there are so many beautiful artworks to look at. Each room has been intricately decorated with fine silk wallpapers, curtains and detailed paintwork on the plaster ceilings and around the paintings. The linens and furniture have all been delicately sewn to create stunning tapestries. The hall of mirrors is a sight to behold. This room full of chandeliers and mirrors. The ceilings in each room all take on a character of their own. This place has to be seen to be believed. Photos don't do it justice. NEGATIVES: There were a LOT of people visiting on the day we went so moving through each room felt like we were cattle being herded. About 7 coach loads at one time. There were just too many people in one space at the same time and it was a hot day which made everything inside very uncomfortable. You don't want to have to go to the ladies room while you're there either. I had to wait in line for a good 20 minutes as there were only 8 toilets to cater for all of those people. 8 ladies, 7 men's toilets - totally unacceptable for a venue that opens to so many people. The water fountains are no longer flowing at this time of year either so we didn't bother looking through the gardens.

    Hiring the golf cart made the long day better. Trianon estate was wonderful. More drink vendors would be appreciated.

    We had to wait out in pouring rain for over an hour. So much for “skip the lines”. Once we got in it was fabulous!

    You didnt send me the receipt and i had a big problem to enter to the gardens. Security men didnt accept the passeport that you sent me.

    Our experience visiting the Versailles Palace was great! The entrance lines were very organized and well directed by the employees in charge. People were allowed to stand in line 30 minutes before the scheduled entrance time. The line moved very quickly and efficiently. The museum has a lot to see, which is almost impossible to see it all in one visit. Very much worth the money to see this beautiful place. Wear very comfortable shoes for walking and enjoy the visit.

    The Gardens are just breathtakingly beautiful and massive on a scale unimaginable. The palace was opulent and just as enormous.

    The experience was fabulous. It was flawless from the time I booked this visit to Versailles. I was kept informed of everything about what to expected. Even though I did not get there on the scheduled time I checked without any problems whatsoever.

    Versailles is cool, worth the day trip to see once in your life. I came with someone who hadn’t been before so I saw it the second time and I wouldn’t put this on my agenda ever again. Additionally the ticket company turned out to be running a tourist overcharge scam. When we tried to enter the gardens they stopped us because our tickets didn’t show the price on in. The seller had deleted that because we paid €55 and the ticket only costs €22. Security took photos of our tickets because they need to file a report when they see this as they are trying to stop this practice. The worst part was just feeling dumb when they tell you how much you overpaid. Just put the price on ticket. I agreed to the price online to skip the line. Even though there was still a line. Bottom line find another way into Versailles if you want to go.

    It would have been a wonderful experience if the correct date was on my ticket, wasted nearly a day to be turned away…However refund of money was done immediately which I thank you for..sometimes things just don’t do right, and they are out of our control…

    Versaille was beautiful however, They changed the time on my ticket without notifying us 24 hours before my visit causing my family to be separated. Very disappointing
