Does not include an actual guide. You are pretty much just paying for a ride and an entry ticket. I perhaps did not read all the details or maybe they were updated but I was expecting some commentary along the way and at the site.

This tour included a pickup from Paris, however it did not include a guide inside the palace. The Palace of Versailles is a magnificent place but I recommend travelers wanting to go on this experience to take the Rer train.

The tour only includes: - Transport to and from Paris - Tickets with a timed entry for the Palace of Versailles and its gardens The tour does not include: - Hotel pickup and drop-off - Priority Access - Live Guide When reserving this tour, you get transportation from Paris to Versailles and back to Paris. You spend about 2,5 hours in Versailles, you visit the palace by yourself with an audioguide that you can either download (FREE) on your mobile device (iPhone or Android). Audioguide is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian. Or you can also rent (5 Euros) a Physical Audioguide at your destination when you enter the Palace. You are also right People should simply Buy 2 Train tickets as well as Entrance Tickets for the Palace. That way it would come up cheaper! One thing you cannot say though is that you were misled since the Product Description was clear enough, providing clear inclusions and Exclusions. Thank you, Arnaud

The tour was amazing, howver i am not a fan of crowds so and the entire palace had crowds every where. I would have like to see a VIP line nd a VIP line for the train, i would have paid extra for this just to avoid the massive crowds.

Versailles is an amazing place that left us awestruck by the grandeur of it all. The drive through Paris was great as we had different landmarks and monuments pointed out to us.

I would not recommend this experience per se to friends. You should go to Versailles for the day. There is so much to see and enjoy that the half day trip is really not enough.

This was not a a good purchase spending $150+ on this “self guided” tour. Versailles is huge and the self guided app the tell you to use is useless unless you know where you are or starting the tour. Something this tour company should at least help with. I feel all I got for this tour is transportation and an entry ticket, which is around 20 euros. An Uber is about $30 each way. So I could have had the same experience for about $100. I would recommend going on your own and hiring a guide once there or do some research before going to have a strategy on a route to take when you get there .. then maybe an app guiding you may work.

Must see for Paris. Be aware that you depart from Paris and don’t meet at Versailles, we made that mistake. We still met up with our guide and all was well. It’s an excellent your. Highly recommend

Our tour guide was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, fun, and a delight. The property is stunning. Absolutely incredible. And the architecture and grounds were some of the most incredible we have ever seen anywhere. Well worth a half-day trips out of Paris.

Great way to see versailles on your own. If you don't like tour group this probably a tour you want to try. It's basically skipping the hassle of driving to versailes from paris and back but be able to explore the grounds on your own. No need to stay with a group the whole time.
