For your Intrepid Urban Adventure tour you will be in a small group of a maximum of 12 people.

Children under the age of 6 are permitted to join this tour free of charge so long as they eat from their parents' meals. Please note that a special, separate meal will not be prepared for them. Please inform us at the time of booking if you’ll be bringing a child under the age of 6.
All of the bars, restaurants and stores you visit on your tour are 100% owned and run by locals.
Your tour includes a wine-tasting in a wine bar owned and run by Nadine, a professional sommelière. Most of her wines are organic and respect biodynamy principles and the meat and dairy products she serves come from ethical farms.
During your tour you will will pick up some responsible travel tips from your guide, such as where to find fresh water when you need to fill up your bottle, or where to shop in a sustainable manner.
While we strongly recommend that all travellers are vaccinated against COVID-19 to reduce the risk of transmission and avoid putting undue strain on healthcare services, vaccinations are not a requirement to join an Intrepid Urban Adventures tour.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We all loved the wine, bread, cheese and meat tasting. We learned so much about authentic French wine and cheese and where to purchase fresh French bread. We also learned what regions of the country produced wonderful goat cheese that everyone loved! Vivien was very informative, easy to understand, with a pleasant disposition. He also was well versed in Parisian history. A simply marvelous tour.

Eli (Elizabeth) was wonderful! She knows so much about art and history and took us through Marais with an abundance of information. She is brilliant and charming and full of tons of historical facts. The places we stopped at were all tasty and delicious and we learned things about wine we never knew before. The sommelier, Eric, was also brilliant. Tasty treats at the Wine Cave and sweet treats after! This tour was one of our favorites! Worth every penny! Thank you, Eli!

Our tour guide was very sweet, but the first thing she announced was that our "Wine, Cheese & Pastry Tasting" would NOT include any Cheese Tasting‼️

Hi Loretta, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is great to read that our guide did a good job with sharing their knowledge and passion for their city and their great food and wine. We are sorry to learn that you and group were unable to do a cheese tasting after looking into your feedback, it is unfortunate circumstances the cheese tasting location was closed as well as our back up location. We do try to be transparent about what each of our Urban Adventures entails, this can be a difficult task at times as sometimes changing local conditions, like the stores being closed, can result in a deviation. In addition, we do advise that the tour does include either a platter of French cheese OR charcuterie wine and liquor tasting. As unfortunately the cheese locations were closed due to unforeseen reasons were unable to do the cheese tasting, however the guide still provided the wine and liquor tasting instead. Thank you again for sharing your experience and hope this response provided further clarification to what is included on our tours.

We had a great time on this tour. Mich was really knowledgeable about food but also about the city, the buildings and French history, all of which were covered. The food that we tried on the tour was also delicious. It should also be noted that we booked our tour for a Monday which is not usually a tourist day in Paris and Urban Adventures asked if we would move it but when we couldn't they honoured the booking and we ended up on an effectively private tour allowing us to set our own pace which was also great. Overall, would thoroughly recommend.

My tour was fantastic! First of all I was the only person who signed up and Urban Adventures still ran the tour - so it became a private tour. The tour guide Mich was so knowledgeable and interesting. He knew the best places for the 3 different pastries we tasted. We also did a wine and cheese tasting that was terrific. I highly recommend!

I totally loved the lady who was our tour guide. She was friendly, informative and very well versed in the history of the area of Paris that we toured. she also gave us the history of the pastries that we tasted during the tour and explained the significance. the tour itself is not what I was expecting....perhaps it should be re-named. I had envisioned frequent stops with small samples of cheese or wine or pastry at 7 or 8 different places. we did taste 3 different pastries, the first beginning about 45 minutes into the tour. we did not taste any wine or cheese during the tour. we went to a small bar at the end where we tasted wines (red and white) served with cheese and charcuterie plates.

Much thanks to Doina for being a kind, knowledgeable and charismatic guide. We walked around learning the history of the area, asking questions, and sampling different foods. At the last stop we sat down and had a few glasses of wine together. The group size was only 4 people.

We did the guided tour along with our guide Paul. He was very knowledgeable and sweet. It was a small group tour of just 3 people so each one of us got enough attention. We were taken to Aux Merveilleux, Pierre Herme, and Maison George's for some amazing french Pastries. Wish we could taste more than 1 piece each.
