This is the first time we have done a guided walking tour. I wouldn’t have done one previously thinking it’s a waste of money and I can find my way round on my own. Having spent the time with our guide Rene, I have a different point of view. Interesting facts and history about the area and some of the places we visited. Relaxed, insightful way to learn about the Montmartre district.

My daughter and I had an enchanting time exploring and learning about the Montmartre District. Tamari Aznarashvilli was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, history and architecture. She directed us to the most wonderful macaron shop and educated us on Parisian food and history as well. Tamari made amazing recommendations during our tour and then took the time to follow our tour up with a personalized email which included a list of places to visit and eat in Paris. This tour was our favorite part of our vacation. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We loved all of the personal tips Mich had for us, like where to eat and where to get a drink and his favorite souvenir shop. He was so passionate about the culture and history. Our adult kids loved the tour and it was our favorite one.

Memorable Moments in Montmartre

François was our guide through this historic neighborhood. He was terrific - informative, engaging, personable, and flexible. We got caught in a 2 hour downpour that started about 30 minutes into our tour. François provided us with shelter and umbrellas, and he was so engaging that we kept on and enjoyed every minute. The good news is Montmartre and Sacre Coeur were uncrowded because of the rain. The rain cleared as we were leaving the basilica, so we got to see the incredible view of Paris as the sun returned. Big thanks to François for turning a soggy moment into a great memory!

Francois was very nice - definitely was a bit over -theatrical … and we spent way too much time talking real estate and looking at newer properties instead of more history. And never even got inside the church! 🥲.

Our guide took us on a tour of Montmartre and the Sacré-Cœur. We learned background and artistic history of the area. Our guide, Malaika was very knowledgable making for an fascinating tour of the area. Would highly recommend this tour and our guide Malaika in particular! We really enjoyed it!!
