    I purchased this private tour as a gift to my veteran father. It was a lifelong dream of his to see Normandy. Our guide (Emilie) made our experience memorable. She was friendly, knowledgeable and created an itinerary for the day which was exactly what we hoped for.

    The weather was less than ideal, but we enjoyed the tour and the guide was great. Trying to do the D-Day battlefields in one day is a lot of driving but we managed ok.

    Jozef was an amazing guide. We couldn't recommend him more highly. We gave him little guidance on what we wanted to experience (i.e. Canadian and American experiences) and we went from there. He made the day very interesting and accessible even to our two teenagers.

    We had a great day exploring the Normandy coast. Our guide was on time, was extremely knowledgeable, and allowed us to make choices along the way. It was an incredible experience. My son said at the end of the tour, “my worst day will never be as bad as the day their worst day.” Seeing the area first hand changes every notion I had of D-day. It definitely changed our perception of the day and the weeks following during WW2.

    The private tour of Normandy was fantastic. Our tour guide Jozef was excellent. He was very informative about Point de Hoc, Omaha beach, the American cemetery and other multiple sites about D Day in the area. He took us to a local restaurant off the beaten path that had the best duck burgers and omelettes It was an unforgettable trip with memories that will last forever. There were 6 of us in our party and by the end of the day Joe made us feel like we were part of his family. This is a can’t miss tour.

    The entire day was incredible. Joe was wonderful. His extensive knowledge of history was such an added pleasure. If you only have a day for Normandy and the WWII sites this is definitely the way to go.

    A profound experience with an excellent guide. Josef was very knowledgeable and engaging. He clearly is passionate about the history of D Day and of the War in general. The American Cemetery at Omaha beach is very moving. As close to sacred ground as exists. One of the very best guided tours ever.

    I cannot express how much our entire family enjoyed this day. Jozef was a fabulous guide and we left feeling like we had experienced the best introduction to the Normandy D-Day beaches. Jozef was extremely knowledgable and made it come alive for our entire family. We brought our 3 boys along - ages 12, 8 & 7. Jozef was able to adjust to their level of stamina for the day, while still giving my husband and me a really full day of history and discovery. I cannot recommend him enough! We are hopeful to return one day to enjoy another of Jozef's trips to Burgundy, or the Champagne area!

    Our private tour with Jozef was perfect, couldn’t have been any better. My wife’s father was stationed on a cruiser off Omaha Beach on D-Day. So, it was important for her to visit. Jozef picked us up on time at our hotel in Paris. He sent a text message the night before to remind us to bring a jacket and comfortable shoes. It was really great information as it was 90 in Paris and 60 and raining in Normandy. Jozef was great, gave us great insight at every stop. The whole experience was very emotional as he described what our troops were experiencing. Lunch in a small fishing village was great. The whole day was terrific. Highly recommend Jozef and Private Trips!!!

    What an exceptional day! Joe was our guide and did a superb job . He is very knowledgeable about the history leading up to WWll and the events of June 6th through the 8th DDay. The discussion was meaningful and intelligent. I learned quite a lot. The cemetery was breathtaking and as I walked the Omaha beach I felt as though I was walking on sacred and hollowed ground. I wish all Americans could have the opportunity to have Joe lead a tour such as this. I know we will ask for his services next year! Thank Joe for a terrific day!

    We had the perfect day with Emilie our tour guide. We could have never seen all,the sites as we did if we tried to do it ourselves. Emilie was very knowledgeable of the history and culture of the WW II sites and nearby towns. We highly recommend this,tour.

    Emily was our guide and driver. She picked us up right on time and drove us to our stops. She was an excellent tour guide, providing much information about the D-day battle and about the area around the Normandy beaches. The lunch we had at Port en Bessin was wonderful (scallops - a local specialty - and D-Day Beer). She took us to the Bayeux Museum to see the Tapestry and while we were there, we explored the charming small town. I highly recommend this tour.

    This was an amazing experience and the highlight of my week in Paris. Emilie was excellent and provided a lot of great detail. She was extremely pleasant to be around and we had great conversation. The tour is powerful and truly gives you a deep respect for what happened for both the Allies and Germans. The towns around Omaha beach truly embrace their history and have tried to remember it in every way. We were deeply moved at both the American and German cemetery. You could honestly spend 2-3 days there because there is so much to see. I cannot recommend it enough and thank Emilie for her time. In addition, Deborah helped me book everything and was excellent. Her customer service is amazing. Thank you for a great tour.

    We had a party of 6 in very comfortable Mercedes mini van. It was about a 3 hour drive from our hotel in Paris with a stop along the way. Pick up was as scheduled. The driver, Jozef, was exceptional, both fun and educational. We made stops to the German cemetery, Pointe du Hoc cliff, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery and the small town of Port en Bessin for a great lunch. This specific tour was very moving and one not to miss. Our group fully recommends this service and would use them for other day tours in the future. As a side note, I had done the regular bus tour with 50 others on board 4 years ago and recommend the smaller group tour as the way to go.

    Awesome trip having a private tour guide and driver was definitely worth the modest extra cost for our group of four. Jozef tour guide is excellent we visited the normal tour sites Point-Du-Hoc, Omaha beach, etc., but also some off road places that had various military items that were strategic to the German defenses. He took us to a local cafe that his friends own we had an excellent lunch. We stayed at a hotel near the CDG airport in Paris it is a 3 hour drive to Normandy. I wish I had stayed in one of the villages nearby this would add more time to tour the area. I plan to return soon and bring my two grandsons it is a great experience for anyone interested in D-day history.

    Joe is very knowledgeable of the Normandy area. He is also very personable. He took us 3 couples to the popular tourist stops and to some parts of Normandy that a tourist would typically not see/visit. Excellent restaurant for our lunch stop. We very much enjoyed our day with Joe - Highly Recommended.
