Eiffel Tower (Pass By)

The Eiffel Tower has been built by French engineer Gustave Eiffel, for the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris. This magnificent technical feat was achieved in a mere two years, two months and five days. It stands 324 metres tall, and the metal structure weighs 7,300 tonnes. Parisians were scandalised by its metallic look and height. It was built to last 20 years. A radio antenna was added to the top in 1903, saving the tower from demolition. It has now become the monument symbolic of Paris.

Cathedrale de la Sainte-Trinite (Pass By)

The new Russian Orthodox church is known as the Holy Trinity Cathedral. The centre houses a bilingual Franco-Russian school, a parish house, and a cultural centre.

Traveler Tips

A river cruise on the Seine in the evening is a wonderful way to explore this charming and elegant city.
A roving crew would also be great, offering drinks or menu to order from the bar.
Note - cruises do not leave every 30mins as advertised We missed a 9.30pm and then told the next was not until 10.30pm

Worth the money and a nice tour.

Pleasant, trip; not too long, not too short timewise. Our guide Stephanie was cute. All around good time for the money.
Simply love it

Paris in a day

Just seeing all the famous sites at one time. Amazing way to decide where to plan to visit specifically. The traffic was atrocious though. Better to take the train or walk.
Great experience, I did...

Great experience, I did not expect the boat to be as nice as it was, also had several snacks and drinks available while on the boat.
Fun excursion!

Efficient boarding process. Our guide was articulate, funny & knowledgeable. Perfect amount of time for a tour on the Seine. Rode past all the desired sites. Enjoyed!
Not what I expected
Susan_S, Mar 2023
If cold and windy to sit on top, don’t bother. Cannot see much downstairs unless you are seat next to window. And the chairs are so flimsy and uncomfortable. Our party of 6 could not sit together since all crowded downstairs with not enough chairs. I did not see an option to purchase preferred which would have been better.
Wouldn’t recommend
Jodie_G, Mar 2023
Couldn’t hear tour guide. Poor quality food and drink. Couldn’t see a thing out of the dirty window so got no photos. Rubbish metal hard chairs. Very cramped, not enough seating. Couldn’t see all landmarks advertised. Only good thing was the stationary boat before our tour with a shop, restaurant and bar. Won’t be going again.
Don’t buy the food option unless you like people touching your food
Dana_F, Mar 2023
While the weather was not great (not anyone’s fault), we couldn’t hear the guide for most of the tour. The windows inside were foggy and we couldn’t see much. Additionally we had a food option that came with a crepe. The man warming the crepes touched them all with his bare hands. Didn’t feel very hygienic. 😕

Awesome trip on the Sienne, with a wonderful guide!! The guide was very knowledgable, and provided details on the archecticture and monuments. Wonderful
The wrong day
Patricia_C, Mar 2023
Unfortunately we picked the wrong day, it was sooo cold and no protection from the wind... We couldn't understand the guy on the mike, it was a dull monotone either in French or English....
Worth it
GEORGIOS_v, Mar 2023
The guide was great. She shared very interesting information about Paris and its iconic buildings. Worth it.
Beautiful views

Beautiful views of the city with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The 6:30 cruise was perfect to see the lights
You can not heard nothing...

You can not heard nothing Not good organization Staff in a bad mood I just did not think too much of it
Meh…
Marcella_S, Feb 2023
We were never offered any snacks or drinks so we weren’t sure we were supposed to get any. The tour speaker was super nice and we loved her but we couldn’t understand but a few of her English words so we just guessed what was going on. The positive: Being able to see some of the landmarks that we did not have a chance to see up close and in person was nice. And the cruise was beautiful and breathtaking!
Worth the time.
Anna_F, Feb 2023
The sights and the guide information. The day was windy and cold so glad we dressed appropriately. Would like to do it again on a sunny day.
Breathtaking magical!!

We could not hear any...
Rutchasaree_G, Feb 2023
We could not hear any guild because of a drunken men with red football shirts very loud with singing their song. They interrupted others and destroyed our enjoying time. We paid for our flight from England to enjoy sightseeing of Paris on the cruise but we didn’t get what we expected
Those few Moments when I...
Sarah_H, Feb 2023
Those few Moments when I could hear and understand the guide. The boat comfort was marginal and not the same boat as in the picture. But any time on the Seine is beneficial to providing a good experience in Paris.
Family excursion
Maria_L, Feb 2023
The cruise was a pleasurable experience but location we confusing to find and picnic box was not worth the expense. It’s best to buy your own snacks or purchase drinks on board.
What a great time!!
Jenna_A, Jan 2023
The cruise wasn't long enough! Lol 😆 I made some new friends, drank the wine and enjoyed our Captain Jacklyn!
