Guide was poor and tour was disjointed HE judgemental and provided little information, just his opinions of the past. We would have enjoyed a story of the history of the neighborhood

We expected Jewish history - which we did not get. There was a mention of the plaques around town and the falafel stand and that was it - a lot of time spent on the church and Picasso - interesting but not what we signed up for

Francois was absolutely fantastic. He is animated, passionate, fun, and very knowledgeable!! We learned all about the neighborhood’s history, architecture, and best local spots. Highly recommend this tour, it was very interesting and became one of my favorite areas in Paris!

This tour was a wonderful way to explore a part of the city we were unfamiliar with. Our guide did a fantastic job explaining various areas/ stops to us. We especially enjoyed visiting the Jewish area and learning the history of the Jews in this area. I recommend this tour and if you go, you’ll be lucky to have Malaika as your guide!

Medieval History, Architecture with Incredible Knowledgeable Guide

Our guide, Francois, brought his passion for Paris history to life. His enthusiasm was infectious. We learned so much from him. We were able to tailor our tour to our interests and he happily complied. It helped that my husband and I were the only ones that day. Le Marais became our favorite region of Paris. We learned of amazing museums off the beaten path and away from the tourist crowds. We saw some of the oldest buildings in Paris and the remnants of the Paris City fortress walls from centuries ago. Le Marais is a jewel of medieval history in this city of so many gems.

Our tour guide Belen was wonderful! She gave us a tour filled with a rich history of the area including the history of the architecture and political history. We did not know what to expect but at the end we knew so much more about France. It was very enjoyable. She also gave us some restaurant recommendations which were very helpful.

Le Marias District is loaded with history and impressive architecture. The Jewish Quarter tour is also well presented and informative. We added separately the Jewish museum which is excellent and close in proximity to the guided tour. Elana in particular was very knowledgeable, engaging and interactive. We had a rich experience with her as our guide and came away with a good grasp of the history of the neighborhood and Paris at large. We highly recommend this guided tour as it adds a different perspective to the usual sites in Paris.
