Meet your private driver on Avenue des Champs-Élysées or choose a pick-up at your city center hotel to begin this Viator Exclusive tour of Paris by 2CV. Hop into the classic car, first introduced as a work vehicle for farmers in the 1940s and now a beloved French icon, and enjoy the view as you travel through Paris.

Drive past several of the city's main sights, including the Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Louvre Museum, Moulin Rouge cabaret and the Eiffel Tower. Travel through the bohemian quarters of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Montmartre, getting insider tips for visiting the neighborhoods later on your own. Take advantage of your private guide to ask questions along the way, and rest assured there will be plenty of opportunities to get out and snap photos.

Stop for a sweet treat and warm drink at the famous Ladurée tea room. The shop was originally a bakery, and in 1871 Baron Haussmann turned it into a more refined pastry shop.

After indulging in one of the decadent treats in the Ladurée case, you'll meet your guide outside the cafe to continue your sightseeing tour of Paris. See the elegant Place Vendôme and Luxembourg Gardens, two spaces popular with locals and less-visited by tourists. At the conclusion of your tour, your driver will drop you off either back at your hotel or at the pick-up point on Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

Please note: The Deux Chevaux is smaller than most modern automobiles, so to maximize comfort these tours are limited to three people per car (not including the driver). If your group is larger than three, that's no problem. As many as nine people can book this private tour, with each trio being assigned its own driver and car, and the vehicles traveling in a convoy.

Our driver Dove was pleasant and very informative! We enjoyed the tour! We got a great overview of Paris. People loved seeing this fun car go by them. They often waved or took pictures!

There was supposed to be a stop for free beverage and treats at Laduree but that did not happen. The guide/driver said he did not have the vouchers for it. So make sure you confirm your itinerary before you start. We’re hoping to get some refund for this oversight. Driver was 15 minutes late. Be aware that 3 hours include sitting idle in Paris traffic. If the weather permits, have the roof top open for better viewing.

Fun on a rainy day

Vladimir showed up at our hotel in a beautiful red Citroen. Even though it was a rainy day interspersed with occasional bouts of sun we had a great time. The ride was comfortable, sights of Paris were explained and many opportunities for photos were provided. We even had a chance to stop for hot chocolate and macaroons with a sliver (very rich) of opera cake at LaDuree. We enjoyed the entire experience. Thank you Vladimir

The best way to start your tour of Paris, Jean-Remi our driver quickly put my wife at ease, due to his excellent driving skills and knowledge of Paris. You will feel like a celebrity as everyone wants to take a picture of car. He tailored our tour to our wishes and included a couple of special stops on the way. Having read the previous reviews I think maybe we weren't so lucky ? ..... Our driver wasn't as fluent in English as we'd maybe hoped and for the high price we'd paid it really was very expensive. The stop at the patisserie didn't quite go to plan either, there was only one member of staff who was worked off her feet so the 'quick stop' ended up being 45 minutes. Having seen a delicious cake as we entered we asked if we could pay extra for one of our choice the voucher only entitles you to a choice of two but they said no, unfortunately the cake were given was so sickly it got left. Great idea for a tour and love the concept but far too expensive

Let me start by saying our guide Vincent was the best. He was experienced, multi-lingual, knowledgeable, solid driving skills, great sense of humor and just a lot of fun to spend the day with. I would highly recommend taking this tour with Vincent. Vincent arrived in the old Citroen CV2 on time at our hotel. Be prepared to have a lot of pictures taken of yourself the Citroen is quite the eye catcher. He drove around Paris explaining all the sites and answering every questions we asked. I would not only recommend taking this tour, take it with Vincent he was awesome.
