Philly food tour was amazing! Pretzels, tahini shakes, and one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve ever had. Chuck was a fantastic tour guide and was able to seamlessly incorporate facts about the city and the food culture in Philadelphia (outside of cheesesteaks) . Would highly recommend!

Thank you Tom! Cheesesteaks are great and we love to feature them on many of our food tours, but they are not the only amazing sandwich in this city. The roast pork sandwich is delicious, and we know the best spots to get it. You hit upon a classic that we love to include, the Philly pretzel, and an innovative spin on the milk shake that leaves guests wanting more.

The guide was great and very passionate. I was expecting a small food plate at each location but two of the stops we had coffee and a milkshake. My recommendation would be for food at all four stops. But again the guide was great.

Very much enjoyed Best of Philadelphia Food tour with Nina. Our first stop was trying different kinds of hummus. It was delicious! Also to my surprise really liked the chocolate mint tahini milkshake, so good. I would say maybe incorporate a little more history of the city and some of the sights. Overall I would recommend this tour. Nina was very pleasant and made a great effort to make sure our group was comfortable.

It's not just that the food is outstanding, the city history that the tour provides is fantastic as well. Our guide, Adam, did a tremendous job educating us right from the tour start at City Hall, with perfect food choices all along the way. Starting at the gorgeous city Hall we made our way to Terminal Redding Market where we enjoyed a warm pretzel, corn dogs and cheese curds. We then walked over and enjoyed a mushroom pizza followed shortly by a very juicy Philly cheese steak. We capped off the food Tour with whoppie pies and a vegan shake in Rittenhouse Square. All the food was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our time and conversation with John who was very personable and knowledgeable. Would have liked a few more stops on the tour to enjoy a few more Philly food staples such as tomato pie and the roast pork broccoli rabe sandwich. Would def recommend to those in the central Philly area!

John was a excellent guide and he has excellent detail and stories about local history. He mentioned how he curates the food and his choices were lacking in subtle flavors, nuance, and variety. Literally pretzels, corn dogs, cheese curds, pizza, an uninspired cheesesteak, whoopie pies, and a half of a vegan milkshake. Most left feeling stuffed beyond it being enjoyable. Most chatted about the lack of anything fresh. Zero veggies or fruit unless you count a tiny bit of arugula on a pizza. Disappointed after two amazing food tours in DC.
