Alex was an incredibly knowledgeable and dynamic guide. Pompeii was humbling. So sad to see what was lost.

We visited on a very hot day and this 2-hour tour was so interesting and engaging the time passed so quickly! Alex is a fantastic storyteller and had our group of two adults and four teens completely engaged. We referenced things we learned with Alex for the remainder of our time in Italy and it felt like the foundational tour for all the other history we learned in Rome and beyond. If you can make this late afternoon tour you will not be disappointed. We visited the amphitheater and had it to ourselves and could hear the echo of our voices in the acoustics.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Alex as our tour guide. Alex spoke with such passion and knowledge about Pompeii, he was personable and entertaining and willing to answer all our questions. It was a very memorable and eye opening experience. We also recommend going at sunset to avoid the heat of the day and the busy crowds. Thank you Alex.

Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough good things about Alex. I am a professional travel journalist. I have traveled all over the world for work and Alex is hands down the best guide we have ever has. He brought Pompei to life for my 9 year old son and had him entertained and engaged at every turn. But more than that Alex is just so helpful and thoughtful and friendly.
