What a wonderful morning. Alissia was absolutely the best guide ever! We can honestly say that he went so far out of his way! The walk is beautiful, and even had some fresh squeeze lemonade along the way!

I took this trip with Vincenzo (CartoTrekking) and my family. We started in Ravello (which is where he is from and seemed to know everybody) and spent several hours walking down to Maori. Vincenzo studied botany in school so it was very impressive to have him point out all of the plants (many edible) growing along the route in addition to lemons, figs, etc. We all wore out our cameras taking pictures because practically every turn leads to another great picture opportunity. Would definitely take this trip with CartoTrekking again!

Intense but beautiful hike!

This was an extremely special experience with a great tour guide, Vincenzo. The views were spectacular and we loved learning the history of the area. While we loved the tour, there were a few aspects that could have been clearer in the description. 1) Physical demands: This is a hike! Be prepared with sportswear and gym shoes—maybe even walking sticks! You walk up and down mountains with 500+ steps several times. We were a group of 4 people in our mid-twenties and it was vigorous! 2) Timing: our meeting time was 9 AM and we asked our guide to get us back to Ravello by 1 PM. To do so, we literally had to run up and down the mountains. Make sure you have enough time to complete the hike at the pace you need! 3) Ending point: The tour ended in Maoiori. We had assumed we’d easily be able to take a taxi from there back to Ravello, but there were none available. Luckily, Vincenzo saved us by helping us get to the next largest town so we could take the bus back. We were still back on time! A great experience overall, but make sure you’re up for it!
