      Wonderful Pompei but what a desaster to get there

      We have red the comments on this activity, they were not all good but we thought, OK let's give it a try. We have seen that we had to present our online tickets at a certain place near the station. It has been a problem for some people but for us, it was OK. We went there and surprise, they didn't know what it was. After long minutes of searching, they finally found our reservation. We were there 30 minutes in advance but when we finally get to the taxi, we were told that we had to hurry because if we weren't able to present ourself at the time we had chosen, the tickets were lost! We had 2 minutes left... Anyway, we got in the taxi which bring us to the main entrance without saying anything. We made the queue to enter and when we finally got inside and went to have the Audio guide, they said that it wasn't the right place and that we had to go back down the street! We did it and 20 minutes later, finally could enter. At this moment we were 20 minutes late and when we scanned our ticket, we were refused because out of time. A kind men said that we could enter anyway and thank you to him, otherwise we would have lost 60 euros! So I understand that we have to read the instructions before going to the site. Espacially when it is booked by an external company. But in this case we had red the instructions and the woman at the station did not say a thing about the way we had to proceed. Totally unacceptable. No I would not recommend this activity, the negative comments were right!
