Awesome private boat tour of the Amalfi Coast

We booked private boat tour of the Amalfi coast from Amalfi as part of our honeymoon trip. Ivan, our captain, was great. He had 12 years of experience and as an Amalfi native -- knew all of the spots along the coast to view, stop and explore. He had wonderful suggestions of where to jump off the boat and swim -- including secluded beaches only reached by boat and caves/grottoes. He made sure that we had plenty of Prosecco and took lots of pictures of our day. His lunch suggestion at a tiny, seaside village was one of the best meals we had in Italy. An overall wonderful day.

Our 6 hour boat ride from Amalfi to Positano and then back to Minoría was the best part of our trip so far. Ivan, our captain, was knowledgeable, funny and an excellent captain. We had an hour in Positano and then had lunch at Tonnarella which is only reachable by boat. Absolute heaven, worth every penny and we will miss the coast more having had this experience. An added plus was being contacted by Serena who kept us informed of where to go and what to look for. The boat was was a classic wooden boat with a canvas top when the sun got too strong. We felt confident and comfortable throughout our day: very well taken care of. Oh and the weather was perfect! 75 and sunny with intermittent clouds. Thank you Ivan! You’re the best!

Ivan is the best captain in Almafi! It was a great experience. He showed us all the best places to swim and all the different cities and hotels along the coast. He took great care of us and even encouraged us to go swim in an amazing cave! If I ever return to the Almafi Coast I will seek him directly! Definitely worth every penny! I will recommend him to all my friends. This is a must do excursion if you are in Positano or Almafi!
