We went to Italy for two weeks and 5 different major cities and couldn’t get over how amazing and experience it was to cook with Emily and family. The food was great, the wine was great and Emily and her family were the sweetest and joy to be around. If I can recommend anything in Positano it would be this 100%!!!

My husband and I had so much fun cooking with Emily and her family! The family history behind the recipes made it so special. They only accept a max of 8 people per class, which allows them to go around and really help you learn. We are incredibly thankful that they waited for us to start the class, as we were a little late due to a taxi issue.

This experience was so enjoyable - Emily and her family were wonderful hosts! They immediately made everyone feel very comfortable in their lovely home. We made two kinds of gnocchi (the lemon was our favorite) and tiramisu. There was a ton of food - no one left hungry!! A note about the logistics - the day before the class, Emily texted when and where to catch the bus near our hotel. She also provided the name of the stop and her brother met the bus to guide us to their home - a quick walk. Overall a very worthwhile experience. We all agreed it was a highlight of our stay in Positano!

A Wonderful experience with a local family making a meal using fresh ingredients. Emily explained the process simply and provided recipe to make at home. Mama, Dad and brother all were a part If the experience. A total of 8 guests sat around their kitchen table preparing the tiramisu and gnocchis enjoying coffee and Prosecco . Appetizers and homemade Gnocchis in two types of homemade sauces made with ingredients from their garden was served along with wine and homemade lemoncello. If you are looking for a simple, authentic cooking experience with a local family, I highly recommend it. It was a highlight of our trip to Positano.

Genny welcomed us into her 100 year old house and made us feel like family. It was an intimate experience with only 6 of us taking the class. Her mother demonstrated cooking techniques handed down for generations and helped us in our preparation. Great food, great company in an awesome setting.

Not a bad word to say about this experience. From the beginning, Angela was very kind and supportive with giving us advice and directions to get to the house. Of course the food was absolutely phenomenal; I didn't realise the whole family chipped in with cooking/serving/helping! I much prefer this small group (6) as it feels more private and you get a lot of attention when it comes to cooking the food. Everything combined perfectly to make this an unforgettable experience. This was the highlight of our trip to the Amalfi Coast! Emilia and her family were extremely welcoming and encouraging. I have little to no cooking experience, but she was patient and helped us through every step of creating the dishes. The most outstanding aspect of the experience was the enthusiasm and passion that Emilia and her family had for their farm and their history. They are very proud of their heritage and their passion is contagious. It was an informative, creative and memorable experience that surpasses any previous tours I’ve done on similar trips. We did a cooking class with Emily and Genny. It was absolutely wonderful. We learned how to make tiramisu and two different kinds of gnocchi all from their family recipes. I love that this class was in their beautiful home, this gave the whole experience a very personal touch. In addition to the cooking lesson we also got to enjoy a tour of their farm and a beautiful meal with their own limoncello and blueberrycello. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for authentic cooking lessons in the area. Not only did they make learning easy and fun, you can also email them if you are trying at home later if you need any additional help! Pro tip: It would be a very vertical, long climb to walk there from the main Positano area - would highly recommend taking a taxi. Emily was able to help arrange one to pick us up and take us home after the lesson.

This was the highlight of our trip to Positano! Emily and Angela invited us into their home and treated us like valued guests! We started with a short walk from the bus with Emily guiding the way, filling in with tidbits about life in Montepertuso. We arrived at her beautiful home where we met Angela and we’re served Prosecco , espresso and cookies. The cooking lesson began and for the next few hours we were instructed step by step in the art of making gnocchi and tiramisu. Emily and her dad then brought us into their garden where we picked fresh produce to enjoy with our meal. The meal was amazing from start to finish, especially the incredible lemon gnocchi! Not only was the day an incredible learning experience, I felt like we had made treasured friends in Emily and her parents. If you can only do one thing in Positano, make sure it’s a cooking class with Emily and her family!!

This cooking class was at a local 4th generation home with the mom, dad and daughter participating in sharing their family recipes. The view from the home was magnificent looking over the mountains and ocean. We saw their vegetable garden they use daily to pick fresh vegetables to cook with in the class. It was very fun gathering with a selective few drinking wine and enjoying the family.

This was an amazing experience!! Anyone in the Positano/Sorrento area this is a must do!! You are welcomed with open arms into a local families home and cook family recipes past down over generations. The food is absolutely amazing and most of it is sourced from their garden. This experience was a true find in Positano, a must-do during your time here! The hosts are extremely welcoming, informative and gracious. From helping us how to navigate there, to taking us on a full tour of their garden. Explaining the land, surrounding town and family traditions. They were extremely helpful and patient during the cooking class, telling us the tips and tricks on how to make the gnocchi and tiramisu just right. Lastly, we tasted our masterpieces with homemade wine, limoncello on a beautiful table outside overlooking the view. Give them a visit!
