Awesome experience with Sasa - bringing ancient Pompeii to life

My wife and I had a fantastic time with Sasa as our guide. His being a native of Pompeii really bought the city to life. He understood what we wanted to see, made sure we made the most of the time (avoiding crowds) and told us so much fabulous information. His stories and way of telling us about the site made the experience one of the best tours we've ever done.

Our archeologist, Sasa, was extraordinary. He really made Pompeii come alive. We (4 adults) found the 2 hour tour to be too short. We wished we could have added extra time, Mt. Vesuvius, or Herculaneum to the day, but, with transport from Positano, that wasn’t an option,

This was a great tour! Our guide Milania was knowledgeable and entertaining. Glad we took this tour first thing in the morning. It was so hot but she kept us in the shade and really paid attention to the groups' needs. Definitely should be on your list of things to see when here.

I highly recommend visiting Pompei when on the Amalfi coast We did a guided tour, but then you are only going to see what the guide shows you. The tour is not long enough for you to see all that you would want. I recommend not having a tour guide, because you may not get one that you like.
