Allen is an excellent tour guide, and kept us all invested in the stories and their twists. It was an excellent night for sight-seeing in the city, and our guide was great at making conversation during the walks in-between each sight. I would recommend this ghost and legends tour to any couple visiting Prague, even if you're not into the paranormal.

Nice tour and fun stories

We had Daniel as our tour guide. Apparently he is rather new in town so we didn’t expect too much in-depth knowledge of Prague. He still managed to make the stories he told very interesting and it was fascinating to listen to him. Some people seem to expect crazy scary stories that keep you up at night. If you do, a movie theatre might be a better choice. Some expect a tour about architecture or historic buildings. There might be better tours for that. The stories told here are about individuals of medieval Prague and their lives. Most of the time some supernatural aspect is included but not always. The only problem might be the price. As it is a walking tour the cost for the company can’t be that high. We were about 10 people, but there was a second guide with another 15 people so with a Ticket price around 16€ they made 400€ in 90mins. I’m assuming the guides don’t get much more than minimal wage the profits are pretty good… We would be happier to recommend it, if they maybe charged 10€.

Thank you for your review, we appreciate your opinion. Daniel, although a fairly new guide, is popular among our guests, and as all our guides was professionally trained. Of course, the expectations of the participants may be different, but they should be based on the description of the tour content, which is clearly stated on all our promotional material as well as on all websites. Regarding the contested tour price, we need to mention that average educated person should be aware of the difference between gross and net profit. Our company employs team of professionals who take care of the guides (hiring and training), the entire operation of the company, accounting and marketing. We cooperate with various resale channels where commission costs are considerable. In the Czech Republic, there are the highest contributions for health and social insurance in whole EU. Moreover, every entrepreneur have to pay other overheads such as payments for renting the office, utilities, VAT taxes, uniforms for guides, etc. Also, covid loan payments to the bank must be taken into account. Despite these considerable costs, we try to keep the prices of tours as low as possible.

Allan was our tour guide. Very good and the stories were excellent. It tried to snow before but Allan stopped it. There was just enough people in the tour.

This is the second time I’ve done this tour and was really looking forward to doing it again. However this time the guide just didn’t have the enthusiasm to draw an audience. Unfortunately she also struggled with English. We were the second party to leave the group before it finished after the third stop. Very disappointed.

Some of them concentrate more on making their audience laugh, some of them want their audience to become conscious of how dark the history of the Old Town of Prague is and they might come up with less jokes. However, they all receive great reviews by our customers, no matter the style of their storytelling. Through training we also always make sure that each one of our guides speaks fluent and understandable English. We know that it is sometimes hard to hear the guide in a bigger group or in noisier places. However, do not be afraid to ask them to speak up and we assure you that they will always do the best they can! Don’t waste your time or money Terrible, very few stories with not much substance. Our tour guide David, he spent more time bulling a few of the other participants, I was actually offended by his actions. He spent a lot of time talking about irrelevant information which was nothing to do with the “ghost legends tour” I would not recommend this at all..

Historical Stories with a Dark Twist

Check in was quick and easy. The tour team seemed well-organized and had the two groups separated and on their way in no time. It was New Years Weekend and Prague was very crowded, so we appreciated the tour taking us on the back streets on the outskirts of old town where we avoided large groups of tourists. The tour will wind through the back streets to a few specific stops where the tour guide shared stories of figures from Prague’s past, during a more dark time. The stories are interesting, but certainly not spooky enough. The tour price was reasonable for the 90-minute walk through Old Town with a few stories added in. More for history buffs than ghost hunters.

Thank you for your opinion. The stories and legends are not modified in any way, we are sorry that you did not find them scary enough. We must point out that the tour is also for children, so we stick to stories that are not too morbid.

The tour started on a high note with me, my wife and 8 more people having high expectations from it. However, soon it became boring as we went ahead with it. Honestly speaking, with the quality of content and the tour, The amount charged is way too high for the same. The tour was more about random stories of people of Prague. The guide constantly encouraged us to click pictures and was trying too hard to make us believe that we might experience there must be something spooky, but instead it was becoming funny and monotonous.
