We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion as it was a good blend of a hike, waterfalls, and buggy ride. The guides were efficient and allowed for breaks during the hike. The warrants were amazing with platforms to jump off, natural slides, or ladders for the less adventurous. The water felt great and we hit 7 of the 27 falls due to the dry season. The buggys went on the beach and thetic some some do water which was extremely fun to hit at a high speed! I would recommend this tour!

Amazing experience hiking through canyons, jumping off waterfalls, going down natural slides, followed by a nice buffet lunch then an amazing atv adventure. Customer service was great!

The description needs to be updated. This tour is not as it appears on the site. I booked the 10am slot, the day of I was told it was too late to attend. Managed to still go and was informed the tour is NOT 4 hours, it is 8 hours! So we were only able to do the LONG hike and swim in the water, we never saw the waterfall. I was informed I was going to get a refund for the buggies. I was reimbursed a total of $4 for 5 adults. Why offer an unrealistic time slot, knowing guests will not have time to do the full tour. Our driver was AMAZING! He managed to get us to the site quickly and was upfront and honest about the length of the tour. Shared we would not have time to do the buggies. He was 100% right. We barely made it back to the ship.

We are very sorry but what happened is that your reservation was for the same day and I explained the cruise arrived at 9, you reserved for 12 and your return time was 4 in the afternoon, first of all you were not on the list and in the same way Transport was sent to you where the excursion had started a few hours and second you left very late and you were notified that you could only carry out one activity of the two reserved and that the money for the second activity would be returned to you, for which the refund was made, with you always lew we were very clear and by the way you only work with reservation made in advance but sorry for the inconvenience

The excursion was amazing! Yunior (the photographer) went with us to the waterfalls and buggy ride and was a great companion. They explained things as we passed by them and were kind and patient. I recommend going early so you beat the passengers on cruise ships (if you’re not coming from a cruise).

Long lines but overall fun

The tour providers were lovely people but overall tour was so-so. They rushed us off cruise ship, told us to be the first ones off, so we met them at 7:45 am but then had to wait an hour for those who chose not to follow that instruction. So finally got going away from port at 9 am. Got to first part with the waterfalls but now there are 3 ships worth of people. Be prepared for a lot of waiting around and over 90 minute hike to “waterfalls.” Several people in another group were upset because their knees were giving out. There was no breathtaking falls on this tour like the one pictured by Viator. The slides and jumps were fun but long lines for everything. Crowds made it feel like we were being herded like at a Disney ride rather than in nature. Had lunch which was good, back on bus, then moved on to the buggys. Buggy rides were fun, went to a beautiful beach, but you only drive thru water twice (not at beach) that was a ditch to collect rain water. Because of the long lines for everything we got back to port at 3:15 pm and had to run the entire length of the port to make it to 3:30 pm last boarding call. Tour was only supposed to be 4 hours total. Would not do again or recommend.

I really enjoyed this excursion! I was optimistic going into it, because I cannot swim. I was very worried about the water portion of the trip, bit I can truly say the guides were exceptional! They made me feel safe throughout the entire water portion of the trip. I can't express how much I appreciated that! From there, lunch was amazing!!! Wasn't just a simple lunch, but consisted of various Dominican dishes that was unlimited!!! Then on the the finale, thw buggys!! This was very exciting, Riding thru the town, beach, and then the muddy waters was the highlight!! A definite must do for anyone considering doing this tour!!

Don’t go. Poorly managed

Poor organization, grouped with others at start of arduous hike. Several people in other groups were really struggling to do the hike. Everyone had to wait for stragglers instead of having 2 groups. One that was faster and one that was slower. Then we all had to wait for all of giant 35 person group to jump into water even though we were group of 7 ! Atvs were poorly maintained and hard to drive for very experienced off road drivers. There was one that slipped out of gear repeatedly and would veer off (one time very close to cliff)! Our guides were very pleasant but the guide at the waterfalls was a jerk and made a bad situation worse. Photographer fell in and couldn’t swim (not kidding). All in all NOT Worth it. Will be requesting refund

The worst part of our whole vacation. We were not satisfied at all our ride was cut short because of they were very out of order things could have been done better but our group suffered. The whole experience was horrible.

So glad we booked through Viator and not The Cruise liner. We were the only two in our group that didn’t book through Carnival so, we were the only two in our group that were allowed to “jump” off the platforms. If you book this excursion through the cruise liner they will not allow you to “jump” for liability reasons. Anndy’s Tour’s was the best! Rose, Elvis and Raulin gave us a lot of special attention, took pictures for us, provided lunch and waters and made our experience special. The dune buggies were sooo much fun!! They really let you get on it! You cross 4 rivers, go through the country side and go through town as well. Note: you’re going to muddy. The waterfalls were beautiful. We had a blast jumping into the falls. It should be noted that the hike is straight up hill but they do a good job of taking breaks and stopping when needed.

Hectic activity

Anddys tours did a great job however the experience itself was chaotic and disorganized. There were likely 1000+ people trying to see the falls and experience this excursion on the day we went. We waited over an hour in a line to get to the first fall. Our guide which was not from this tour company but the organization that actually takes you through the falls, was super attentive to our family with two seniors and a child. Overall this experience was hectic.

Incredible Journey

What a great experience. There’s a lot of walking, but so worth it. Walking through the forestry area was an adventure. I would recommend this to anyone who is in shape and can do MANY steps. Never in my life did I think I would jump off a cliff so far into the water. The guides were great at helping people due to the slippery areas, and places we didn’t feel 100% sturdy. Just laugh when you hear them say, just 5 more minutes or one more set of stairs to the falls. They then tell you it’s D.R minute. We had a nice authentic D.R. Lunch which was very tasty. Alcoholic drinks were offered to those 21+. On the way back to the cruise terminal, Elvis and Willie stopped at a place to go shopping. We watched them make some petrified wood carvings. It was beautiful. We picked up a baseball that was decorated with our home teams logo. The market had beautiful and authentic Larimar jewelry. I would definitely go on this tour again. Thank you so much Elvis and Willie.

Guide der die Tour zum ersten Mal durchgeführt hat und keine Ahnung hatte. Es war vom ersten Moment an unorganisiert. Halbe Stunde Verspätung bei der Abfahrt. Vor Ort: zum Glück war WLAN vorhanden Tourguide war sich nicht schlüssig über doe Reihenfolge der Aktionen Nach halbstündigen Wartezeit startet eine Tour zum Wasserfall - Guide ging eine andere Tour und lässt seine Gruppe alleine und geht auf eine andere Entdeckungstour. Großes durcheinander da private Sachen im Auto weggesperrt wurden. Schließfächer wären aber grundsätzlich vorhanden gewesen aber wir durften diese nicht nutzen. Nach dem ersten Wasserfall - 1,5 h Wartezeit kein Guide in Sicht also auf eigene Faust zurück Keine zeit mehr gehabt für die Buggy Tour, ohne Guide, falsche Sprache - war anders gebucht und angegeben, Stress da private Sachen in einem geschlossenen Bus, kein Mittagessen und Rückkehr zum Schiff - last Minute Aktion Nicht empfehlenswert! 4h verlorene Zeit in einem wunderschönen Land
