Miguelito was an amazing guide! He made us feel safe and encouraged us to step out of our comfort zones. We wouldn’t go back with anyone else! Overall a beautiful hike and worth a little mud to swim in the natural pools and slide down water slides!

Had an amazing time!! Gillian was absolutely incredible as a guide!!!! Her enthusiasm fir the place and sharing of knowledge regarding the rainforest was contagious! Additionally She took everyone’s physical limitations and psychological state if mind in mind, taking extreme care to support each and everyone on the tour to the point of giving her own shoe to one of the participants who lost a shoe in the water. This meant that Gillian had to walk a mile and a half over rocks, through mud and on rough tree roots in her socks! She pretended as if this was nothing. I can’t think of anything she could have done that would make me think she was a better tour guide. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Our guide was Gillian. She was excellent. From arrival to our hotel for pickup to drop off at the end, her customer service was great. She made us feel like family! The hike itself is a bit challenging. Please be prepared for slippery mud and water. Do not wear Nike slides!!! A couple of people in our group found out the hard way. Gillian warned them at the beginning. There are two separate hikes. First one takes you to rope swing and cliff jump area. It’s another 15-20 more intensive hike to the slide. After hiking back downtown the van, we went about 30 mins away to eat at a roadside cafe. Smoothies and empanadas were very good. If you take this adventure I hope you get Gillian, she definitely made me feel safe and I really enjoyed this.

Surprisingly the Most memorable part of this tour aside from the awesome slide/waterfall and swings were the tour guides lol Jimmy who was our shuttle driver was very social and fun to talk to during the ride up the mountain. Our guide up the mountain which was led by Miguelito was nothing short of spectacular he gave everyone on the tour a level of comfort to where accomplishing the hike will be 100% safe under his watch and it was that and then some. He was attentive to each individual if one couldn’t swim or didn’t want to partake. Gave knowledge about the land and locals 11/10 from start to finish!

We had a great experience with our tour guide and group. We had Gillian or Jungle G and she was a delight. Gave us clear instructions and was very helpful during the jumps/swings, and I loved how she was very thoughtful of everyone's comfort levels for the hike...This was a great hike and I recommend it for everyone. What a great experience! If you’re second guessing to book just DO IT! Our tour guide Miguelitoooo was GREAT! The hike is an adventure in itself. I jumped off a cliff into the natural spring water, did a cannon ball off of a swinging rope & slid down a natural water slide!

Awesome adventure. Definitely challenging, but worth it in the end. My group’s guide (Micheal) did a great job of keeping us safe yet ensuring we had an epic time. My only critique is that I wish I would have known what shoes to wear and that rock climbing was apart of the trip. I definitely would have prepared for it differently.

Our guide Gillian made the tour amazing. Super nice girl drove us to the waterfalls in El Yunque with a great selection of Latin music. On the hiking she provided a lot of information about the wild life and the park ecosystem. All trip was fun and safe, it exceeded my expectations.

Amazing experience. Tour guide "Miguelito" was the perfect tour guide. Kept things lively. Explained everything we needed to do to keep safe, while having a great experience. It's a little tougher than I anticipated, but I would definitely do it again. The only thing I'd do differently is wear a belt that can hold a water bottle because you will need 2 hands at times to brace yourself. I'd also wear better shoes. The slides are a must do. Big time rush. I'd also recommend Miguelito. Kept the group on our toes. Made us feel safe. Give that man a raise. Anyway if you're thinking about doing this tour. I recommend. 5 stars!!

I really enjoyed this tour. It was gorgeous, challenging and rewarding. My group was so supportive of one another and helping each other along the way. Miguel was an excellent tour guide and I felt safe with him 100% of the time. The hike is challenging. You are climbing up hills, rocks and over tree roots. This does really require a good level of physical fitness and proper footwear. No kidding around. Would definitely go out with this group again.
