Luis was our tour guide and he was EXCELLENT!! Helpful, patient for us new beginners! Took pics for us. Our horses were Paches, Athena. Whiskey and Galante. Beautiful and funny and well trained. Riding through the trails of trees to enter into paradise riding on the beach. It was breathtaking!!! I highly suggest to take this tour !!!! Thank you all the people working and helping us and to the the horses. Xoxoxo

This tour was amazing!!!!...very organized and you can see that they really care for the horses!!!. .Our tour guide was Kiara...ask for her, she was amazing...she was thorough, pointed out about plants, animals, locations we crossed etc and she was so fun!!!, we even got to gallop we had so much fun.. we will definitely book again...Thank you Kiara and Tropical Trail Rides!

The owners and staff were professional and easy to work with. The experience was exactly as described. I personally found 2 hours to be quite lengthy, but only because sitting on a horse is not comfortable when the horses gallop as they go. I was pleasantly surprised at how well my 7-year-old and 8-year-old handled their first horseback riding experience. I definitely think this experience is better suited for ages 6+. Definitely read through the detailed email instructions once your order is confirmed and before you go. We booked this excursion the morning of the day we were going and had also booked for my youngest child and ended up not being able to take him riding and it was extremely easy to call and get a refund for his ticket the same day of the excursion.

We had a issue our driver to take us never came . I had to find someone last minute . The lady who help me was amazing with accommodating us. She could’ve said nothing she can do being that we was late I definitely appreciate her. We had an amazing time.

Tour operators were lovely people. Best tourist beach ride trail ride I’ve been on. Horses well behaved, well cared for, trail was beautiful, plenty of Trot time. Be sure to arrive 30 min early (was not on my Viator description) and account for slow driving conditions if not staying directly in the area. 5 star experience

I forgot my instructors name, but he was nice and friendly… my horses name was Harmony she was amazing literally listens to everything you tell her to do! Ask for harmony! They gave my boyfriend Gelante (probably spelling it wrong) but this horse is only 4 years old & does listen at allllll thankfully my boyfriend didn’t mind it actually made his riding experience 10/10 lol so if you want a wild horse ask for gelante. They also stop for a break which includes pictures of the view n horses. I would come again but at an earlier time frame.

For guests that reserve through Viator, they have all of the information for your ride listed on your ticket-arrival time, directions, riding attire and things to bring. Guests that reserve directly with Tropical Trail Rides are sent an email confirmation at the time of the reservation and a reminder 24 hours before their ride with all of the pertinent details. Had lots of memorable parts from start to beginning especially with the ride along the beach and seeing how beautiful Isabela is. Our tour guide, Doug, was awesome and very patient. Took some great pictures in the middle when we stopped along the beach. Guided the horses very well, even while our horses Ace and Smoky were flirting. Highly recommend and ask for Doug!!!
