What To Expect

Start your visit by meeting your guide at the Bacardí Pavilion in the morning. After toasting your day with an included welcome cocktail, proceed on an in-depth exploration of the Bacardí Visitor Center, learning about the historic origins of this iconic rum brand through a series of exhibits and presentations. As you travel through the eras of history, you’ll learn about the rum production process and see how this once-small rum producer has evolved into one of the world’s most famous spirit companies.

Before your visit ends, you’ll have time to shop for rum products and Bacardí-themed souvenirs at the on-site gift shop, admire the views of Old San Juan from the bat-shaped (like the company logo) pavilion and maybe even grab a bite to eat at Georgina, the on-site restaurant (own expense).

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Cool experience! Our tour guide was wonderful - super energetic and knowledgeable. Factory tour was only exterior - wish we were able to go inside though. But the history, video, and museum were really cool. Welcome drinks were pretty mid tbh. But getting to try the special reserve only produced and bottled in Puerto Rico was definitely worth it. Would recommend!

This was a nice tour. The welcome drinks were delicious (we chose mojitos). The tour had about 30 people on it. We took a tram around the outside of the Bacardi “village” and then went inside where we saw a short film, heard the history of Bacardi, and learned about the different products Bacardi makes. We were also given a small sample of Bacardi’s best rum.

We learnt very little about the rum making process. The tour guide was nice. Overall not worth the money. It’s hard to get to and tricky to call an Uber back to the city.

Thanks for your insight, we do suggest an experience like the Founder's where you have the chance to visit the Back of House and learn how the process goes from start to finish. We do have a list of available transportation companies in case uber is not an option. We appreciate your comments, and we will implement it to better assist upcoming visitors. Cheers!

Had a great time. Short walk thru the rain forest, was perfect for me. Rock slide was scary but fun. The only thing not too happy with was the condition of the tour bus One window was held in place by duct tape
