I wanted to like this tour because I thought it a wonderful idea to involve kids in making it. However, I was very disappointed. It was difficult to hear much of the narrative because some of the kids' voices were not very clear. Many of the stops were simply there to encourage you to keep going (unnecessary with a map and a GPS locator). When the information about the buildings was provided, it did not go beyond the basic facts (year(s) built, remodeled, etc.) with very little historical or cultural context provided. In particular, Ponce de Leon was the first governor of PR but that hardly makes him a heroic figure.

Old San Juan was very informative. We did have problems with the gps however. Our location was not accurate it seems.

I really enjoyed the audio tour of Old San Juan! The only hiccup was that there was construction on a road that threw the tour off a bit. But I was able to put in the location where I was and started the tour back from there. I could stop and go as I pleased! Highly recommended.
Perfect walking tour of Old San Juan Buildings.

The precise location. As you moved the “guide” will move and start talking about the building once you got there. Incredible. Short and sweet stories. We love it!
      Awesome tour!

So fun!! I had a wonderful time walking around with all this well-researched history in my ear, and the kids saying it made it so much cuter!! So much better than a tour because I got to stop and shop or wander off whenever I wanted. Also felt very safe walking around as a solo young woman.
      Didn't work.

The app didn't work. Tried for an hour just aimlessly walking around along the path it gave but no interactive points ever started talking after the Teatro Tapia.

The info was great however it didn’t take into account of street closures so I was getting info for the wrong places and it kept on telling me I was lost
      Response from Host, May 2021
Hi Denese Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about the road closures. Our tours are published by local journalists, filmmakers, historians and tour guides in over 200 destinations, we don’t always know about sudden road works or business closures. We'd be happy to give you a credit for a free tour if you contact us. You can also still do the tour again, as many times as you like, at times that are convenient for you. Keep well, Alicia
      So adorable and fun!

This is seriously the cutest thing ever. My friend and I had a blast walking Old San Juan listening to these adorable 6th graders give each building's history in 1st person. The flexibility is awesome doing this vs a guided tour b/c you can start and stop it as needed, which we did take a pit stop in a cute little bar for a mojito along the way! Much better experience and at a cheaper price equals win-win!!
