We enjoyed learning how tequilla is made. However, we were under the impression that we would get to experience a few different makers to taste the differences. It was only one manufacturer that was part of this tour.

We feel a vertical flight ( all the same brand) is the best way to understand how the flavor profiles change as the aging in the barrel progresses from Blanco to Extra Añejo) , i suggest trying the Spirits of Mexico tasting next time ( 6 different spirits! , 5 brands) we have 7 different tastings to choose from! Thanks for the review!

Informational tour but tequila is poor quality

The tour was mostly through photos showing how agave is harvested and tequila is made. So it was moderately informational but the actual tequila was pretty poor. Just anywhere in PV you’ll get much better tequila. We did not enjoy the actual tastings and got a headache after.

Tequila tasting that must be experienced

What a cool experience. The tasting room is in an up-and-coming neighborhood, Versailles, tucked among a bunch of great restaurants, but the true highlight here is the tequila and the instruction about it. Tequila has a fascinating story, more akin to wine than many spirits and it was absolutely worth learning about (and enjoying)!

Amazing - over 2 hours learning about Tequila, how it is made and tasting the tequila. Pairing with some food - the pineapple was delicious! Amusing and fun. A few laughs along the way. In downtown Pureto Vallarta, so easy to get to by taxi, which are cheap. Well worth doing this tour. I totally recommend.

This was an awesome experience. Loved the food pairings with the high end tequila. Great location in PV. The presenters were knowledgeable and fun. Unfortunately my very well wrapped body of resposado broke on the last leg of our trip in a hard case suitcase thanks to movement by customs and harsh treatment by baggage handlers - next time I will bring a box. Also pay pal made a mistake and sent me a text saying my account had been charged in dollars - Corrina was very quick to communicate with me and put my fears to rest. I would highly recommend this - this isn't your commercial tequila and I learned a lot. Thank you for this experience.
