Christian did a wonderful job hosting this tour covering 8, yes 8 distinguished stops! Without giving up his secrets, he shared his deep knowledge of the food scene, the different neighborhoods, and some fascinating history of Puerto Vallarta. The food selection and choices are wonderful, and we are just scratching the surface. I would highly recommend you go with an empty stomach, pace yourself, and enjoy! Cheers!

We lucked out, as my fiance and I were the only two who booked this tour probably due to the possibility of rain. It did rain a bit, but we had a private tour because of it. Erik was absolutely fantastic, and the food was amazing (especially the smoked marlin tacos). Get off the beaten path and enjoy some of the more local spots instead of just the touristy stuff. 10/10 definitely recommend. Really can't say enough about how great Erik was. He went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic, and was full of personal knowledge about the area, the history, and anything we had questions about. Get off the resort for a night and enjoy this tour!

What an amazing evening! Erik took great care of us, and made sure we were well-fed and fully appreciated the tasty taco options available in Puerto Vallarta. Some of these were what you'd expect (fish taco, al pastor, etc.) but some were entirely new experiences that were extremely tasty - like the crab "taco" that is more like an enchilada. I could have eaten 20 of them. This is a nice leisurely stroll around town, with good company and good food. I definitely couldn't recommend it higher.

This taco tour was amazing! Christian was the most amazing guide and immediately made me feel truly welcomed in Puerto Vallarta. He has such a warm and friendly spirit, and made sure that we had an authentic local experience. We had a small group of 5, so it was the perfect size! We ate our way through the Romantic Zone and 5 de Deciembre neighborhoods and were were greeted with smiles and exceptional hospitality at each stop. The marlin tacos are next level AMAZING! Kudos to this tour company for accommodating solo travelers. There are quite a few tour companies in PV that will not allow you to book as a single person, and I appreciate this company accommodating me.

Joana was a wonderful guide who shared so much of the history around the local food scene in PVR. I did this small tour (8 people total) on my first day in PVR, and found it to be a great baseline from which to chase flavors for the remainder of my stay.

This is a great tour with several options and also included churros and raicilla tasting at the end which was a pleasant surprised. Alcibiades our guide was excellent. He explained everything really well and answered our questions promptly. I highly recommend this tour.

Al did a terrific job. Clean food. Great service and Al has so much knowledge. If you are in the restaurant business yourself, this is the tour to take (you’ll appreciate his detailed knowledge of each family and process and history). Everything was delicious. My favorite was the beef cheek taco. I’ve had it plenty of times but this was the best. Most importantly, you would spend three times as much trying to find food this good on your own. Thank you Al!

Everything was great! Loved all the choices. Bernardo was super friendly and informative. The Volcano 🌋 tacos were the bomb.

Hated not knowing we had to walk back to the beginning to get back to our car when the tour ended at our hotel. Loved the variety and quantity of food. Guide was very knowledgeable! Tried to find churros again without luck but they were the best ever. Our group of 5 each had a different favorite. That is success! We repeatedly visited these spots if we could find them.

Everything was great. The food was delicious and varied. The guide was excellent. She told a lot of interesting stories about the restaurants, the food, the owners and the different parts of the city that we explored. The drinks were also very good. The 4 hours went by in what felt like 15 minutes. I highly recommend this tour.
