Had the BEST time!! Renaldo was our tour guide he did a great job sharing interesting facts and taking our group to the various restaurants. I am soo glad we chose this excursion it was very hot so riding in an air conditioned van driven around the city was a BLESSING! My mom and I had a great time and we look forward to booking this excursion again the next time we visit. Oh and the authentic restaurants we visited served us the best food we had the entire trip! Get ready for FRESH homemade tortillas ❤️

Joana was our tour guide and she was INCREDIBLE!! We loved every minute of it. Our party consisted of 7-3 adults and 4 children. I was worried the kids wouldn’t have a fun time but Jo made a point to include and interact with them. She was so knowledgeable and told us about the cities history and pointed out so many fascinating things. All the spots we visited were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. I never would have known were to find to good local spots to check out without this tour! Highly highly recommend!!! It will be on my list every time we visit Puerto Vallarta!!

Sweet tamales

We have done several food tours in many different countries but this was one of the best. Terrific guide Joanna, so warm and friendly and knowledgeable. Such good food and flavors. Never had such good tamales. One was a sweet tamale made with pineapple. Having the bus was a plus. So much food we didn’t need dinner that night.

An absolute must when in Puerto Vallarta

Our tour guide Joana was excellent. She certainly made you feel welcome on the tour. She took us to a total of seven food establishments-five being restaurants and two being related to desserts. All of the places we visited were in neighborhoods that we would never had been aware of. The restaurants served very generous portions of delicious foods. Joana explained the food we were eating and the cultural background of the dishes. The desserts included a visit to a bakery and an ice cream shop. One word of advice-do not eat before going on this tour because the portions are amazing. Was a great tour in with excellent food, a perfect guide and in depth information of the neighborhoods visited.

The food choices were unbelievably fantastic. I can’t even rate them as each one individually was A number one! Our tour guide Joana was top notch. She was patient with all of our many questions and explained in detail about each stop we made. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially if you can’t do one of the walking tours. I had recent back surgery and definitely could not walk. We were in an air conditioned van which made it all possible for me. PV

We took our second tour with these fun people on the 14th of April and Miel was our guide. She’s great with stories, descriptions and recipes. She and the driver, Francisco, took us all over PV, describing the various and varied neighborhoods, with history and stories. We visited about 7 restaurants, mainly tacos. I love tacos and that’s why we chose this company. I can’t think of anything that wasn’t fun and tasty. If you’re ready for a foodie taco adventure, this is the full tilt ride. Unfortunately we were unable to go on this tour as my husband and I both came down with the flu and I was unable to get out of bed the morning of the tour. I know we had to cancel by March 1st to receive a full refund but we thought there should be some amount that was refundable. We had gone on the Taste of Vallarta for the second time the week before and liked it very much. We were really looking forward to something different with this tour. So sad we didn't make it. As a long time user of Viator we wish they had a percentage that was refundable or credited to a future tour if you are unable to make it do to unforseen circumstances. Thanks

The restaurants we were taken to were quite diverse but the food was excellent at every one. Some restaurant we would never have found on our own. Bernardo is a very knowledgeable guide. Would certainly take the tour again.

Real Mexican Food

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. A knowledgeable and personable guide, along with a thoughtful Mexican driver, took us to parts of Puerto Vallarta we would never have discovered on our own. We ate where the people who live here eat, enjoying fresh food, mostly prepared in front of you. The only downside I can think of it we were very full at the end of the tour. No need to eat again for the rest of the day.
