WARNING THIS IS A LONG REVIEW TO HELP TELL YOU EXACLTY WHAT THIS TOUR HAS IN STORE IF YOU WANT SPECIFIC DETAILS.
They left just enough time to enjoy the activities without making you feel like you missed out. You will pass by some cool rock and cave formations before the first activity. Can't remember what they were called but they were super cool, they get you up really close to it to get good pictures of it all. There are a ton of birds there and i even saw 2 small rays come to the surface swimming together. After that we did snorkeling first, the water was dirty but they got a lot of pretty cool and colorful fish to come to you, you spend about 20-30 minutes in the water. Then we arrived at yelapa, its a gorgeous small village on the rocks and mountains that makes you want to go move there immediately. Everyone is nice and a lot of the vendors took cards. Even the dogs were super well trained, they would come sit at your feet and be the sweetest dogs ever. At one on point on the beach there were probably ten dogs playing. They were fun to watch and didn't bother anyone that didn't want to be bothered. At yelapa thay ask you if you want to go to the beach for extra beach time or on a 30 min hike to the waterfall. GO TO THE WATERFALL! It is not a thirty minute hike but more like a 10 minute walk, its super easy. A lot of older people on our tour made it up just fine. The waterfall is small (probably just the time of year, we went in may) but really pretty. The land surrounding it is gorgeous. On the way up to the falls you will see a lot of vendors selling their crafts with decent prices. Oh, and the tour people will gladly take your photo at the falls. The walk from the falls to the beach is a little longer but not strenuous at all. Some stairs to hike down but thats really it, and you get to walk through the whole town to get there and trust me, you'll fall in love with this town! You walk across a large stretch of beach (people with iguanas will try to get you to stop and hold their lizard, but its not free, they were charging $5 per person per photo, so be careful of that scam.) At the end of the beach there is tons of relaxing chairs, umbrellas and tables. This is a restaurant, you can order drinks and food while you wait there (but the free lunch on the boat is delicious so I would seriously just order drinks if anything) you spend about 30-45 minutes here relaxing or playing in the water. You then have to walk along the rest of the beach to get to the pier to hop on the boat. There they will have lunch. (Hop in line immediately if you don't want to wait forever, it will be at the bar counter) the lunch is all the toppings you need for a torta (ham, turkey and cheese are available with veggie options, the grilled onions and bell peppers are delicious) they say they have salad so i got a big plate of lettuce next to my torta, but its not salad (they don't have a dressing, they just call it salad when they just mean lettuce for your torta) the pasta salad was dry but flavorful, I really liked the potato salad and the dessert is some samples of cheesecake pie they buy from the locals at yelapa (if you see a vendor selling their cheesecake pie on the hike up to the waterfall, GET IT! Its fantastic!) After the time at that beach they take you to one of their private beaches to paddle board, banana tube ride and kayak. You get close to an hour here. Warning, the sand here will damage your feet. Its more like small pebbles, not sand. I thought I had calloused feet but with the hot sand and the pebble texture it hurt really bad, please bring water shoes if you can! Here they have shade and bathrooms and i think they were selling drinks on the beach but im not too sure. You can't got out too far with the kayak and paddleboards but its still fun to get going. (The paddle boards do not have fins on the bottom so balancing two people does not work, they are 1 at a time boards) after your time at this beach the tour is over and they start heading back to land. The crew puts on a lip sync show that is a little funny and uncomfortable to watch (if you're an introvert like me that is xD) but they seem to really enjoy it so it was fun for them, they sing a few 80s rocks songs like guns and roses and such. They will onload at the Puerta valarta marina first before going to the next stop. (Not sure where it is because I loaded and uploaded at Puerta vallarta.) They ask for tips on the way out.
This tour is booked through vallarta adventures, I wish all of my tours were booked through them. If you can just look up their profile and get it all through them. They are very professional and know how to have fun. You don't feel like its sketchy or unsafe at all. This is the tour company you need to see all of Puerta Vallarta!
