What To Expect

Your half-day adventure begins with a morning, noon, or afternoon pickup from your Punta Cana hotel, when you’ll board a vehicle destined for the nearby Rancho Quad Bike. On arrival, you’ll receive a safety briefing and learn the controls of an ATV.

Once you feel confident, you’ll embark on an off-road journey through lush tropical forests and plantations. Stop to sample Dominican chocolate, coffee, and rum at a local farm before continuing to Taino Ecological Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to dip into freshwater springs.

Your tour culminates with a stop at Macao Beach, a sandy stretch surrounded by limestone cliffs, where you’ll have time to relax and shop for souvenirs.

Hotel drop-off occurs after the adventure arrives back at the quad bike office.

Guides were great. Jumping into the cave pool was very fun! Be prepared for lots of vendors and selling along the trip and stops. They do not provide goggles or bandanas. But you can purchase there. Overall a good time.

A fun and thrilling adventure that would be great for all! The cenote was nice and the water was refreshing! The beach stop was quick but the waves were so rough by the shore it was enough time. The people on the beach sell aggressively. Drely was our guide & he made the experience great!

Our tour guide was very professional and he kept us safe, but the tour was so crowded and very rushed (barely 20 minutes in each place, and we were surrounded at the beach by people trying to sell us things. My favorite part was the cenote at the end but the stop at the “plantation” which wasn’t really a plantation hit just a place they’ve built to try to sell you things, felt unnecessary and the guy giving us a talk cussed and was inappropriate. We didn’t enjoy that part at all. At the end they force you to sit down and scan a QR code and then stand over you while you leave a review. It’s definitely not a five star experience.

We apologize, Adrienne if you did not have a great time with us. It was truly a pleasure having you. Our tour is 3 hours and we take you not to 1 but to 3 great places so that you could enjoy them. For this reason, we cannot spend too much time at each stop, or else, you won´t make it back in time for you to take your transportation back to your hotel. If anything inappropriate was said at the coffee ranch then I will speak seriously speak with thee the person giving the briefing. They try to be funny with their breifing and that is ok, but cursing is strictly not allowed. As for reviews, no one and I mean no one is forced to do anything on our tour, let alone leave a review. We genuinely ask if anyone that would like to leave a review to leave it because the reviews are the backbone of our company and they help us get better as a company. If you are looking to ride ATVs in the mud, this is not it. We had a good time but mainly rode through dirt/dust and through the countryside with cows and horses (there was no fence). The tour guide was nice but the company itself, is a bit unorganized when it comes to instructions. We had to ask how to operate the ATV once they turned them on, there was not an informational session. I enjoyed the different stops at the cave and store tasting coffee, etc. The van that picked us up from the resort had no A/C. We had to ask where our transportation back to the resort was and waited approximately 15 mins for a ride back, with still no air but it was better than the fan, as it was a bus like vehicle with no windows.

If you are looking for a glamorous/private excursion, this is not it. You are taken to public areas (cenote, beach), and drive through rural Dominican Republic areas. And the tasting is not what most Americans think of, it was a sampling of one each green tea, hot chocolate, coffee, mamajuana, and a cigar. However, it was completely worth it! John and Arber took great efforts to keep our group safe the entire time, and worked well together. John did a great job of telling the group that any purchases were optional and to ask for prices before purchasing anything. Overall a great excursion for anyone looking for some adventure!
