Fair enough. Not big deal. We arrived to the station 30 min ago and no one announced the bus arrived.

All seemed like a bit of a shambles. Tried to book a return journey from Blue Lagoon. Confirmation text was confusing, did seek clarification on wording but no response. On return there was no scheduled bus at the time allocated on my booking correspondence and there were two other groups of people there that were also waiting but were told they needed to wait another 1hr. I opted to pay again for seats on another suppliers bus.

Hello, my name is Katarzyna Kriger, date of birth 21-10-1999, the phone number I was contacting your company to book a tour to and from Blue Lagoon was +44 7593637563, I’d like to claim a refund due to a miscommunication that took place on the 8th of November. In the very morning I have called your company to book a tour at 1pm for two people to the Blue Lagoon from Reykjavik and back. The price was £80 for both ways for two people. I have also wanted to book a Blue Lagoon entrance with your company but the lady on the phone said, that by purchasing a tour ticket with your company the admission at the Blue Lagoon is GUARANTEED, I will only have to pay for the entrance at the reception once I arrive there. However once I got there, the reception at the Blue Lagoon said that this isn’t true, you have to prebook your Blue lagoon ticket in advance. I then called your company again to explain them the whole situation, the lady on the phone tried contacting one of the operators to resolve the problem, she said now everything is fixed, the operator will send me an email that will allow me to purchase a ticket to enter the Blue Lagoon, however I’ve waited for an email for so long with no result, I then called you company again, being on the phone for an hour with another person who eventually said to me that there’s nothing they can do but apologise and give me a refund of the £80 I have paid for the tour. I’m very disappointed due to the misinformation that was given to me, I would of planned my day differently if I wasn’t told that I’m guaranteed a space in blue Lagoon, I’ve wasted hours sitting there on the phone calling your company with no result and finally getting on the coach back to my hotel. I’m still waiting for an email from you company that confirms my refund that was told by the last person I spoke to.

I booked a holiday to Iceland, which included the blue lagoon, I didn’t know transport was not included to get there. I booked through viator, they were great had the time and date I needed even though I booked it 2 days before we were due to go.

We hd a great time, despite the bad weather. I'd say heavy rain and wind is part of the experience here. But, beat of all, our tour guide was AMAZING! Such a fun and knowledgeable person. I loved it. I'd recommend it to everyone. The landscapes are gorgeous and nature wild and breathtaking.

Thought we would only spend an hour or so here, but surprisingly we stayed for 4 hours. Staff very friendly & efficient. Changing rooms good & kept clean & tidy. Lagoon fabulous & we finished listening to a story .

We got the bus from the BSI terminal in Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon, then to the airport after we had finished at the Blue Lagoon. Bus was reliable, there were no issues.

Comfortable coach. Friendly driver. Return journey was got short due to bad weather so we didn't get to spend much time at the lagoon. Driver dropped us off at preferred drop off point on return journey which was nice.

Inadequate number of return buses from Blue Lagoon

We left Reykjavik at 1 pm to the Blue Lagoon. However, the last bus leaving the blue lagoon was 14.15, so we had to pay for a taxi to Keflavik, which cost us €60. I was not advised of the lack of return buses when I booked the return journey. Very expensive bus journey at €78 return for 2 adults.

The buses arrived on time and it was a smooth ride to the unique must-see blue lagoon. The bus driver gaves us valuable tips and we had plenty of time at the lagoon to enjoy it without hectic.

Would have been nice to have some additional return times. Others were asked where they wanted to be dropped off, but because I had the transfer I was not given the option to be dropped off nearer my accommodation.

Things went well overall. Shy of 5 stars because they were strange about the Viator ticket with what looked like just me. In the morning, I was the first one. I showed the driver my ticket no problem. Then others streamed in. They switched drivers and guy #2 stared at my ticket forever. I understand people doing their jobs, but excessive. I played a game while he took his sweet time. Don't understand the point of a barcode if they aren't going to scan it or better yet why be checked twice. On the way back, tried to show my ticket and take with me. I wrote something on the back, but tey wouldn't let me. I asked what about if I showed you my ticket on the phone. No answer. Overall the ride was great. The ticket situation was silly, get a barcode scanner.

Awful I arrived at the desk in the bus terminal to be told the company had record of my booking. They spent some time looking into to see viator had booked the reservation then cancelled it without telling me and hadn't sent the company the money I paid. I also hadn't recieved a refund. Thankfully the company Reykjavik excursions were nice enough to honour the booking and said they would chase viator up about it. I suggest going direct to the Reykjavik excursions site and booking it there.
