As buses are not allowed to drive in certain areas of Reykjavik centre, your pick up may be from the nearest Tour Bus Stops. Your Hotel reception will help you find it. • After receiving your pickup information, the local partner will notify you of your exact pick up time and location 6 to 24 hours before the departure time by email. • Pickup takes place between 08:30 -09:00 am - so please be ready from 08:30 am at your pick up location. • If you don’t add a pickup location Meet us at Bus stop 8 Hallgrimskirkja (Cathedral) • If you can´t find your address on the list, you can add it manually, and after we receive your pickup information, we will notify you of your pick up time and location 6 to 24 hours before the departure time. • Please be 30 minutes before departure time at your pickup location.

My bride and I thoroughly enjoyed our day long Golden Circle Tour. Especially enjoyed the small group size...made for a much more intimate and enjoyable trip. So much better than being on a bus with 50 other people! Here's what we liked: - I liked getting emailed the day before our tour confirming pickup location. Because we were staying in a hotel that is in the city center not everyone can pick up at the hotel. The tour operator directed us to the closest bus stop that they could pick us up from making sure we knew exactly where to go. Like the attention to detail - Makrem was a GREAT guide. Very well versed in the sights, history and overall knowledge on Iceland in general. He was very personal and friendly and all of our group thoroughly enjoyed having him show us around. He answered every question - and my other half asks a lot of questions! Entertaining and knowledgeable - As I mentioned the group size was ideal. We ended up with 6 on our tour, 3 different couples (who did not know each other) - The sights we saw were certainly among the top highlights of what Iceland offers. Simply incredible! - The time was right - overall length of the tour, and at each stop. We saw the national park, waterfall, Geysir and Kerid volcano crater as was promised. We also stopped at a farm and got to pet some of the Icelandic horses. Makrem told us he had a surprise for us; based on other reviews it seems this is generally a scheduled part of the tour. Still it was cool to see (maybe not so much to smell - typical farm lol) - Makrem was also flexible. He picked us up in a minivan (we were the last couple to get picked up) but there were some large people in our group (myself included - typical Americans!). As a result my wife and I got separated; since she gets car sick easy I let her sit in the middle bench seat and I took the last seat on the bench in the rear. It was very tight with 2 other people. It would NOT have been an enjoyable day for all the miles we had to cover. Despite the current mandate that all passengers sit behind him he let me sit in the passenger seat upfront which made it a LOT more enjoyable and comfortable - Another example of his flexibility came when the main route back to the city was shut down due to construction. Apparently they started earlier than normal. Makrem stopped at a nearby hotel, got some insight from locals there, and took us back on an alternate route that I actually enjoyed even more. It was more hilly, a little more windy, and a very scenic route despite not being the bigger highway. Very cool to go that way It was neither good nor bad but we ate lunch at the restaurant at the Geysir. Food was fair to good (our pork schnitzel was lukewarm), there was a large selection and price was fairly reasonable. It was the only real option we had of eating on the tour, and by then we were glad we did. Things that could be improved upon: -Give him credit, Makrem was eager to please and help us learn. However, I would suggest in the future that he NOT use his phone to do a currency conversion, or look something up online, while driving the van. I never felt we were at risk but know that others may not appreciate him not paying complete attention to the road at all times. He only did it a couple of times (and at one time was pretty aggressive passing about 5 cars/campers in a row - he knew they were tourists but still it seemed a little unnecessary) but my bride felt that he especially drove a little too fast on the hilly road (again she is susceptible to car sickness) Overall HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour and Makrem! You won't be sorry!!!

Our tour guide was excellent. His name is Makrem. In addition to being very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour, he was also very resourceful when the road back to our hotel in Iceland was unexpectedly closed due to construction, he was able to quickly find an alternative way back. This was not easy due to being far out of the city and in a very remote area. We enjoyed the trip and the friendly demeanor and knowledge of the tour guide.

My best friend and I had so much fun on this tour, the guide was amazing. He was very kind and fun, and even made room for a special request for us to see some horses. He was very knowledgeable about the land, and also extremely safe with Covid cautions. I would give this A+++
