Fantastic day out

Amazing day, beautiful scenery we got really lucky with the weather! Tour guide Kristina and driver Gregor were awesome. Loved the geysir and the waterfall. We also got to stop and see some horses on the way back. Sky lagoon was definitely worth doing, the 7 step spa treatment was lovely, amazing view from the sauna and loved the salt scrub. Would recommend!

I would recommend the tour but not the company. They left us ar the bus station, and then they blamed us. Then made us pay again to get home. I’ve complained and heard nothing.

Great trip with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Learnt a lot about Iceland whilst couldn't see much of the scenary before 10.30am in January after that saw the stunning scenary in all it's glory. The lamb soup / stew at Gullfoss is a great way to warm up after being out in the cold.

You NEED to book a tour when travelling to Iceland

When we booked Iceland everybody we spoke to told us we needed to book a tour of some sort. We were skeptical as neither of us like being stuck on a coach for hours and we like to just do our own thing. However, I am SO glad I booked this tour. It started early and we didn’t arrive to somewhere with food for the first hour or so, so if you’re moody like us without food, I’d suggest eating before you go, or pack some snacks. The coach journey was no trouble at all as there were plenty of stops and each one was breathtaking. You get just the right amount of time at each stop off and food and drink are available to buy each time you stop. So if you’re coming to Iceland and you’re not planning on renting a car, I 100% recommended booking a tour because if we didn’t book this tour, we would have never seen all the beautiful parts of Iceland that are worth seeing without booking it as Reykjavik is just a bit like any other city centre to be honest! You definitely need to get out of the city (on a tour) to get the whole Iceland experience.

Simply wonderful day! Daren was entertaining and informative, making the journey sections of the day fun. Stunning scenery, geological wonders with waterfalls, the rift valley, site of the ancient parliament all in on be day. Ending with the sky lagoon for a relaxing and magical end to the day. Darren was a great tour guide. He was funny, articulate, knowledgeable, and patient with the group. The Gullfoss waterfall was a highlight of my Iceland experience. Definitely see all angles of it. The geysir was boring, but it is part of the tour, so not much you can do about that. We enjoyed the Sky Lagoon experience as well. It was a perfect end to our 5 day trip to Iceland. We did Blue Lagoon on a different day, so we got to do both of the touristy geothermal spas. The sky lagoon is smaller, natural water, and has more of a tranquility vibe. The 7 step ritual is not forced on you. You can do whatever steps you want and for whatever length of time. The bus was comfortable and we had enough time at each stop.

The Golden Circle tour was great albeit perhaps at some of the stops (Geysir for example) the time we had to explore was a little longer than needed meaning the day was stretched out a bit. But overall an amazing day.

We were very lucky to have a knowldegable guide, Heaf (hope that is the correct spelling), who gave us a brief before we visited the sites but then let us explore on our own. I think the amount of time at each attraction was exactly right, I thought some of it sounded too quick or too long but it worked out really well. Pickup was smooth and we managed to see everything in the daylight! Thank you Heaf and team!

wonderful excursion. sights were great and guide was informative. the secret lagoon really beats out the blue lagoon in that it is surrounded by nature and has many fewer visitors so you do not feel crowded. also they have "noodles" available for floating or sitting on.
