    VERY IMPORTANT PICK UP & DROP OFF INFORMATION : We offer pick up and drop off within the city of Reykjavik. We can pick-up directly from some hotels as well as from the Reykjavik cruise ship terminals but parts of the Reykjavik city center are restricted for bus driving. This means that tour companies can only stop at certain designated BUS STOP locations in the center of Reykjavík to pick up the guests from hotels or other accommodations located within this area. If your accommodation does not have direct pick-up due to being located within the restricted area, then you can use the map here down below for the walking route from your accommodation to the nearest bus stop. Please note that we offer pick up only from Reykjavík city center. If you are staying outside of the city than we can pick you up from BSÍ Bus Terminal.

    I booked this tour with Heimir because of all the great reviews I read and was planning on proposing to my partner under the northern lights. I let Heimir know in advance about my plans and he made sure we do it at the right moment and also surprised us with a small bottle of champagne. He was great, took several photos of each person on tour, explained things about the northern lights and when 2 large tour buses arrived at our first location we moved to a more secluded area that was just ours. Heimir is a 1 man team who did the driving, photography, story telling, prepared snacks and drink and paid attention to everyone individually and made sure they felt good. You might be thinking that this tour is expensive but it really is not when you take into account the service you are getting and the experience you are about to have if you are lucky enough to see the northern lights. Jumpsuits were provided for those who wanted it. The only thing I would say is that he could pay more attention to dietary needs as we and one more person couldn’t enjoy the snacks and there was no alternative.

    I would recommend this tour to anyone, and did to random strangers at my hotel! Our guide was so enthusiastic and determined to make sure that we had the best experience possible. And we did! We were originally scheduled for Friday night, but it was overcast so we rescheduled for Saturday, we went to 3 locations and saw the lights at all three. It was so awesome to just watch and not worry about taking pictures. He sent a link to Dropbox as promised and I downloaded the amazing photos. Thanks Heimar for an incredible experience.

    Our family worried if we would miss seeing the northern light. It was our last tour agenda before heading back home. Michael was very resourceful and was able to find a spot at the right timing for the northern lights. We saw the northern lights and it was amazing. And hot chocolate served was just perfect for the very cold night.

    This a place to visit especially with this tour company. Michael the driver/ tour guide is very knowledgeable when it comes to chasing Aurora Borealis. We really had a great time . If you're cellphone camera not working well he has a pro camera to take your pictures and if you were unlucky not seeing Aurora during your trip you can always join the following schedules for free. Hot cocoa and cookie snacks is a plus for a freezing weather. Highly recommended.

    Awesome once in a lifetime trip! This guide will get you to see the Northern lights. Our guide was very passionate about his craft, and brought warm jumpers, traditional Iceland snacks, and his own camera to share YOUR story. Take note: this guide will do everything in his power for you to see the lights on your first night. This tour won’t take you out if there is a very low possibility of success. Be prepared to stay into the morning hours. I’m thinking how I might fit in one more tour with this guide to experience this again!

    Heimar was our guide and I cannot recommend enough what an amazing guide he is! He was very communicative, he took amazing photos of us and the Northern Lights and also provided them free of charge. We were in a small group and in a secret spot no one else was in. I would do this again and again. He provided beverages and snacks, as well as heavy duty snow suits. He catered to every single one of us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!! 10/10!!

    I can't possibly express how amazing this tour and, specifically, Hemir is. Not only were we able to see the lights but his photographs were amazing. His absolute passion for the lights - and for sharing that experience with visitors - shines through. The communication was crystal clear, the pickup was right on time and his van was spotless. He worked a network of observers, friends and others around the city to find the best spots to see the lights, explaining what he was doing as he went. The small group lended well into great conversations and sharing of experiences never feeling like we were being "herded" or rushed. We made a few stops along the way looking for the peak of the lights and the best environment, finally stopping at the side of a river. He guided us through how to get the best photos and had amazing equipment that captured truly once-in-a-lifetime memories. He could charge 3 times what he does and it would still be worth it. Needless to say, highly recommend this tour.

    What an incredible experience. The guide was amazing!! So kind, and determined to help us find the best viewing area. Then spent time with everyone helping and also set up a "hospitality" table of drinks and snacks. I couldn't have asked for a better tour for the Northern Lights!

    Great tour and finally, on our 3rd trip to Iceland we saw the Northern lights. Very grateful that we were recommended to change our tour date due to the weather forecast.
